    That's different. I mean, of course there's going to be a Flash, and it could be any white guy under that mask.

    But I guess the same could be said of future Superman as well. I mean there has to be a Superman, and of course he's going to look like Superman. He could be a new clone, for all we know, since another clone is bound to look like future Superboy due to being so genetically similar.

    Yeah, it's kind of weird. Midnighter/Jason makes almost perfect sense, and I can kinda see Donna/Engineer.

    When I first saw that Parallax solicitation I thought it was heralding the return of Superboy Prime. Someone in one of the recent DC panels announced that he'd be turning up in all the Sinestro Corps hullaballoo. Besides, they've done the, "Kyle is granted enormous power and almost turns evil/insane" story twice now. Why tread over old ground?

    Also, who're the two battling figures on the Suicide Squad cover? I mean, one's obviously Grant DaNasty, but who's the other one?

    Why are we all assuming Kyle will be Parallax when:

    A. Parallax is pretty obviously powering the Sinestro Corps at the moment

    B. Kyle is clearly on a superhero team at the moment

    Yeah because Marvel's suddenly going to start dramatically altering their history so that readers are no longer sure which characters did what, what's in or out of continuity, or why characters are acting completely unlike themselves.

    DC's already got that market cornered, so really, what'd be the point in even trying to compete?

    "Suddenly"? Marvel hasn't had a consistent continuity or clear characterization for most of its heavy hitters for years. It's just now coming to a head.

    I have no idea what you're talking about on the DC front. The bullshit during IC and immediately after aside I can't think of any major gaffes.
