People who're only familiar with Lohan in her current, sentient-trainwreck capacity, and are (not entirely unfairly) suspicious of any movie she heads up.

They typically come around when I go, "No, but, Tina Fey!"

I probably wouldn't have seen it willingly if I wasn't going with a group of girls to see it in theaters. I was pretty shocked that I enjoyed any movie Lohan was in.

she was also in A Prairie Home Companion, which was really good.

Now that I think about it

I think Lohan was my first celebrity crush in her version of The Parent Trap

(I was, like, twelve at the time)

Not sure if this counts as a pathetic geek story, but the other day when a few of us forumers were watching a livestream of Speed, as soon as we heard the black lieutenant's name was McMack, I immediately was able to somehow rationalise that this movie was in fact a stealth origin story of the Demo Man from TF2

Seriously that livestream was heaps of fun. Also reasoning that since the bus had enough "C4 to put a hole in the world", that Speed was also a prequel to Adventure Time.

So it's very geeky over here. We are drinking and playing Just Dance on the Wii.

Some of us are better dancers with alcohol...some of us are much worse.

I can't explain it. You'll have to see it in person. There are four girls here and a lot of booze.
