You know now that you mention it, I now feel like I have an obligation to deliver a "Time to Die Line" every time I vote for someone. Y'know because of the theme. Like "Time to say hello to the ferryman, blanketyblankblank". That's not a very a good one but you get the idea.

I'm interested in how folks drum up the creativity to flesh out 40 interesting roles.
I generally enjoy most of the roles I've happened to read.
Also, do folks tend to prewrite narrations, or is it all generally done on the fly?

Depends on when the information comes in. If kill/seer/etc. orders to sent in early enough and the vote is clear, you can manage to write some of the narration beforehand.

when I was running robin hood, I had most of the narrations pre-written. pretty much because almost all of the orders were in long before i got home from work (since i'm on a different time zone than everybody). I got home around 6pm my time, read through the thread, got the orders, and then started writing narration based on what i had so far.
some games (although fewer lately than before), narration doesn't really even have to follow the flow of the game. It can really be just a story that gets told and the results happen along side it.
Some hosts will put information in the narrations, others won't. it really depends on the host and the game.

well, seeing as I'm an american democrat, I like him fine. he's not done everything i want, but i like him well enough to vote for him again.
