So I am currently in need of a good pair of bluetooth headphones that function as a headset to use while doing exercising.
But it's not quite that simple. Some of my exercising includes biking and hiking and I've had problem with most headphones I've tried in the past for these things. I have a great pair of sony earbuds (wired, with ear clips) that I use now; however when doing things outdoors particularly
riding my bike, the wind blowing into the speakers totally ruins the music I'm trying to listen to.
So I was looking into in-ear options like these
but they aren't getting very good reviews and the number of people commenting that if you sweat much the buttons will stop working really fast scares me off. And it's a lot of money to drop on something that could just straight up not work for long. EDIT: Granted, they're on sale right now and $60 is pretty cheap
Another requirement is that there is something that holds them on my ears if they're in-ear buds. I have odd ears and most in-ear ones will not stay in my ears at all
unless there is some sort of clip to go around my ear too.
Finally, I am really anal about audio quality. Something with weak bass simply isn't going to cut it and I like to hear the full range of the music I'm listening to.
I could put up with something that is not bluetooth if it means that the audio quality is top notch and it fights the problem I have with my current set of wind ruining the music. It would still require call functions for my phone though. EDIT: And I'm willing to pay a fair amount for something that either I know will be really reliable, sounds great and/or has a good warranty. I'd like to stay below $150, as that's the max I'm really willing to pay, but I'd really prefer sub $100.
