Enjoying Superman 64 isn't just a guilty pleasure, it makes you guilty, sentencing hearing to be scheduled this following Monday. :P

That said, I actually completed that game. It's funny what you can get done in college with an empty afternoon and a full bong.

I love Totino's pizza. Love. I'm not a fatty, (6'4, 200 pounds), I just love them. Whenever my wife goes out of town, I'll literally eat them for lunch and dinner (my wife hates them). Throw two on a cookie sheet, bake until they're crispy, then cut them into quarters. Whatever I don't eat for dinner I'll eat for breakfast the next morning...

    are .... are you me?

In my defense, I got the game free as a gift, so I wasn't being very critical of it.

They are laced with crack or something. My dad is the same way too. It's where I picked up my addiction as a kid.

Seriously, my mom would go out of town and stock the freezer with Totino's, they'd be gone by the time she came back.

My wife is taking the kids to visit their grandfather for a couple of days. I have a Totinos pizza and a pack of Totinos pizza rolls in the freezer that I will live off of for the next two days.

also, I like Dragonlance and I don't care!

No, that's Terry Brooks, but I liked that too.

There is another series by Rick Cook where a code monkey gets summoned to a fantasy land and he ends up writing a magic programming language. It was my absolute favorite series of books. He created creatures called Emacs (I swear to god I am not making this up) to run magic scripts for him. I'll have to reread them someday to see if they're as dorky as I recall. There was a hot redhead in it too, as a teenager I liked that quite a bit.

EDIT: Here's the first book in the series

I dunno, it gets fairly decent reviews so maybe it's not so bad.

I will admit that I both read and enjoyed the series as well. When he's got other wizards-to-be making spells that end up being glowing 'Hello World'...

However, in my defence, I read them for free off the Baen Free Library.

Before following any advice, opinions, or thoughts I may have expressed in the above post, be warned: I found Keven Costners "Waterworld" to be a very entertaining film.

Yeah, you can still read at least the first couple online. The first one is kind of a set-up for the rest of them, and it's pretty traditional fantasy fare: sucked into a magic world, totally wimpy guy goes on epic adventures and gets his butt saved by people there until he comes into his own at the end. The other books are more interesting, and you can really tell they were written by a computer programmer. It's like Harry Potter for Unix and Basic nerds by the second book or so.

I read them at the library. And then bought them and read them again. I also enjoyed the first book or two of Goodkind's (and then read another 6 or 7 of them for some unfathomable reason), along with a couple of Terry Brooks'. Nowadays I have a soft place in my heart for Kim Harrison's urban fantasy series despite its rapid spiral down into romance novel/softcore porn land.

Edit: Rick Cook had another book, Mall Purchase Night, which was a pun on Walpurgis Nacht and chronicled the adventures of a mall security guard fighting faries invading his mall. I read that too. I am not ashamed.

I loved Final Fantasy 8 and 12. I caught my best friend as he watched the last cutscene in 8 for the first time and found him bawling. I gave him a pat on the back because I did the same thing. These are the FF's everyone is supposed to hate, aside from the obvious 13, but I don't care, I thought they were brilliant.

Sometimes I watch YouTube videos of dudes going way, way too fast on motorcycles and in cars. All of these videos are pretty much snuff films waiting to happen if someone makes a mistake. I have no ethical defense for this at all.
