Hard to believe as this may be, I've never really owned a video camera in my life. I had one handed down to me recently but I've never used it because all of the things I'd want to film require the use of both of my hands.
I was looking for a decent, fair-priced camera I can use hands free. Maybe a helm cam, or something that clicks to clothes, or something like that. I want to be able to film from my view doing things such as: hang-gliding, rock climbing, spelunking, zip-lining, white water rafting (the latter perhaps the least since I figure water will be an issue for less expensive cameras).
Any of you folks have experience with something that would work well for these exciting activities?
EDIT: No, I don't work for the company or anything, I just think they're really nifty.

I just picked up a gen2 creative labs Vado HD for $30 with the intention of mounting it to my 1/10 R/C drift car to record my mad driftan skills. Haven't done so yet, but if you're on a super low budget you can find them and flip minoHD 3's on clearance for under $50 usually.
If you want something super disposable at some expense of image quality, you could check out micro camera. $20 for standard def, $50 for HD. I've never used one, but they were making a pretty big buzz last year-ish for mounting on model rockets or the like.

Chris - those user movies are perfect. I enjoyed the seagull stealing the camera one
