    I think its kinda up to you ken. I think a more open theme might get more participants. I Would really like to do the 1 to 3 page short story comic contest again, because it had excellent results last time we did it, and we have way more comic types now and alot of people who are aspiring to comic. Establishing a character in the short period is a challenge without dictating style or subject matter.

    But yeah, Just pick something.

    Doing short comics really is one of the best practices of story-telling, like Iruka said, establishing characters and setting in such a short time is a great challenge.

    Hey I never cared much for post-apocalyptic stuff till I started work on this! So many good ideas have sprung out of that theme/setting combo and punched me in the face.

    @kendeathwalker Setting #2, is that splatterpunk OR space opera, or is it splatterpunk IN a space opera?

    I've storyboarded a space opera, I may be able to add splatterpunk elements if necessary.
