I would advise against Shadow, for a variety of reasons. I was under the impression that John Crichton was a few centuries from now, but he's still viable, although it would more than likely be him prior to the events of the show. Detective Riggs, while technically acceptable, is probably a bad idea.
Westin and Ash are both pretty decent characters, although Ash might be a bit too... less than serious for the tone.
Every team we face should just happen to be a collection of other roles played by the same actor.
At the end of the game, we go up against the final enemy, the puppet masters that have been secretly controlling all the other rival groups, The Freemen.

...and now I'm just thinking of a collectible card game where each player's hand has to be built around an actor, and all of the monster/summon cards are the roles they've had.

And then we get someone to be the rock nic cage.
Zatanna (maybe), Yorick Brown, Barney Stinson, Mad Sweeney, Professor Woland (maybe)
Superheroes are discouraged, as is the Prince of Darkness, so there are some maybes there
This is basically how I want to play my Deva Avenger
Eh, escapeology is a pretty stage magician thing
I mean yeah, a lot of his other stuff was just palming and such
But for a magician, not a bad choice
I'm not super familiar with Supernatural beyond the first two seasons.
Power level is supposed to be around street/pulp level, and I believe he's a pretty major demon, so he might be too powerful.
Shapeshifting?
A car?
Assorted skills?
It's been a while since I read it.

I can't think of anything else outright stated.

I tried it in 4e with an assassin, but it's not quite there.
Technically viable
But capes are very ill advised
Oooh, and I will be Nic Cage from Con Air!
I might recommend more along the lines of say, 8mm or Matchstick Men
But sure, all Cage, all the time

Gary Oldman was playing everyone.

Also tempted to see if I could work Jack Reacher as a character, from that crime series by Lee Child.
I actually really like this idea.
