What's The Atom doing in there?

Well, I have an idea of what he's doing, I'm just not sure the network would stand for it.

    Clearly I missed that episode.

It's from Dark Heart, Season 3.

    That's some mighty cleavage there.

I suppose this will invariably lead to a discussion of who has the best jugs in the Justice League.

    Hehehehe...

    Amanda Waller.

    28.jpg

    Dem's some rude titties!

Also, apparently Warren Ellis would only do Dark Heart (with the Atom) if he could put him in Wonder Woman's boobs. I can't remember where I read that though.

Rampage? Is she a legit DC character or am I right to assume someone thought Mongal might upset someone in a PC way?

Yeah, she's legit. She was created during Byrne's Superman run in the late 80's. Unlike in JLU, she was more or less a good guy.

Yes, but his sister (or daughter, depends on which Mongul we're talking about) is called Mongal. Or was. Mongul Jr. punched her head off or something.

Bringing back the topic of superbaby, I never understood the whole "Lois and supes can't have kids!" thing. They had a kid in Whatever happened to the man of Tomarrow? and Lois looked fine. And that was back in Pre-Crisis days, where Superman could move planets.

If they want Superman to have kids with Lois, he'll have kids with Lois. Most normal rules of logic don't apply to Supes.

If Lois and Supes turned out to be compatible, the pregnancy wouldn't kill Lois. Clark liced on earth since he was a baby and only started to exhibit superpowers in his late childhood.

Unless you watched the movie, in which he lifts the Kent's truck (one handed even) as soon as he's out of the pod.

You know, just the other day I was watching "Paradise Lost" at my local comic book shop. To be precise, "Paradies Lost" was the episode the JL DVD in the player was currently on, and I happened to watch it as I thumbed through IC #7 (Man, I'm not buying it, it wasn't quite that good).

Jesus, talk about illustrating Timm and co.'s inability to write Superman into fights early on. Supes is absolutely pathetic in the final fight with Hades, particularly when Wonder Woman comes across so well by contrast. I don't care if Hades is a god, Superman is fucking Superman. He should have been able to plow Hades into the dirt, even if Hades was putting up a good fight.

And fuck, don't get me started on the Wonder Woman/Superman fight in Part 1.

This is tangential to the topic, but it must needs be said.

George Newbern, voice of JL/JLU Superman is:
[spoiler:be03d0b936]Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children[/spoiler:be03d0b936]
    His best line:
[spoiler:be03d0b936]"I've just thought of a wonderful present for you. Shall I give you despair? On your knees. I want you to beg for forgiveness."[/spoiler:be03d0b936]
    ...Su-Supes?

Now, if only he could say that as Superman! :D

They had the same problem with Flash too. I mean, at the beginning of Brave and the Bold he's trying to keep up with a truck? It didn't make a whole lot of sense, but made for a fun scene at the time. As the show progressed they sort of got their footing and figured out how to not gimp the characters as much.

I like to think they're training as the series goes on. We do know that, in Paradise Lost, they've been together 8 months; and by Savage Times, the League (not just Supes) has known Bats for "years".

They get better at not failing as time goes on.

Actually, I think it's the weaving through traffic that keeps Wally's speed down in that episode. I mean, he wanted to catch up to the truck, not get ahead of it, since he can't stop it with his fists like Superman or Wonder Woman could.
