Whoever was it that complained that all 2D Transformers were done in Japan, well, its being done in US now.

EDIT: Looks like the style is spreading, for good or for worse

Guys let's draw conclusions about the entire line of toys and the whole show based on one promotional drawing.

Er....I mean, I love the Transformers and all.

But this isn't really comic-related, right? Unless this is also about the kickass new series of comics.

There will be comics, toys and videogames, according to wiki.

Normally, I'd agree with this statement.

But dude... that's a pretty fucking awful picture.

I said it before, I'd like the style if it was used in anything other than Transformers. It just doesn't work for them.

It's kind of funny if you imagine the whole silver part of his face to be one giant lower jaw. So when he speaks he has a tiny little mouth and a huge chin.

Oh god I hope they don't do that.

PS: What the fuck does 'More heroes for your buisness' even mean?

Maybe the Autobots have opened a business solution center, you know, they serve as consultants to get your business off the ground.

This time, instead of Megatron turning into a gun, he turns in a labor lawyer.

I love the fact that it's called Transformers animated.

Y'know just in case you couldn't differentiate it from the live action motion picture version.

I like it, but I suppose I'm the only one in the boat that doesn't jump to the pathetically inept conclusion that corporations are out to rape my childhood (of course they are-and who really cares-we wouldn't have a lot of cool shit now if it weren't for this fact) and that my eyes bleed from ONE art piece from an ANIMATED show.

so its an inept, but true conclusion? ooookay.

I'm more than willing to change my opinion on the art style when I see it in motion, but right now, the immediate reaction is *what the fuck?*

Because it's a sly way of telling us that there's going to be more to the show and toy line than this single shitty promo art.

look at that picture, then try to imagine how the toy line for that series will transform. I'm picturing a super-deformed truck, and that could go either into the 'awww so cute awesome' or 'like a ford truck with downs syndrome' categories.
