It was a horrible horrible episode where the acting was so corny as shit 100% of the time. I don't think there was one scene save the final that wasn't groan worthy

Did you watch the same episode? There's so many good quotes, and so many story tie-ups / advances,
FOR CHRISTS SAKE THE JESSICA SCENE
Like did you seriously type that sentence out and mean it?
Dude, Tara is definitely dead. She took a shotgun shell to the head fer chrissakes.
Seriously.
Right before it ended, Sookie lifter her up to check on her condition, and with the camera angle you could clearly see that aside from hair, half of an entire side of her head was gone.
Really though, they pulled about every trick out of the fucking box for that ender. Killed off major characters? Check. Brought back major baddies from every season? Check. All they were missing were some pissed off deities of excess!

And full frontal of course... Deborah should just suck it up and stop being self conscious. She's hot as shit and every guy who's seen True Blood wants her.
I'm confused on one thing, why did the authority want Bill and Eric dead? The only reason the witch even became a threat is because they refused to let them kill her? I guess it's the same thing as when a president really screws the pooch and picks someone to be a fall guy?
One other thing that just came to me
With Russell free, the only way to stop him may be witchcraft, did that occur to anyone else? Calling it now: Lafayette takes Russell down
And for the love of all that is holy, someone please tell me there are some screen captures kicking about of the characters Jessica's and Jason's scenes, I don't care if she is exercising her breast clause in contract or not - hell, its not like I got to see Jason's wang either but they are both ridiculously hot.
The amount of fan fic / sketch porn that will be generated by those scenes... LOL
Among the best episodes this show has ever produced, that was a pay off of epic proportions with sizable impact crater with significant hooks into future story lines.
I haven't had this much fun since I played Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

I felt the same. Some plot stuff that was a long time coming happened, but every single scene was embarrassingly awkward or ridiculously over the top bad.

Oh yeah, me and the wife were laughing our asses off at the line, *especially* since the daughter is addicted as all hell to Pokemon right now.
Otherwise as far as the wolf guess, I'd say it's a ruse maybe, since there's only one. If it were the pack you'd see about ten wolves there ready to kill him?
Otherwise there will be pics up of Jessica on Egotastic in a day or two, it's like clockwork.
Overall the biggest thing that has my mind working is:
The reverend. It almost seems too easy to think he's out to get Jason, *especially* since he can't even enter the dudes house without an invite! So I'm thinking maybe he's asking for help? Maybe someone turned him and he ran away or some shit. Otherwise the only other dude who comes to mind is Edgington, but it seems off timewise for him to turn the guy.
Oh and as for Sookie:
I was totally expecting a threesome, considering the looks they were giving her it was obvious they didn't mind. Her turning them down was a new one. >,>

I'm thinking either:
A: As Nan's assets, they were scheduled for termination because the Authority was just going to take her whole cell out with her. Probably a good policy in Vampire business to kill everyone who served under her and bring in a whole new crew.
B: Only Nan had actually been sentenced to the true death, she was just trying to get them to take her side by claiming she was supposed to kill them but she totally decided to do them a favor.
C: They wanted Bill and Eric dead for all the public displays of violence they were involved in this season.
What a pile of bullshit resting under a pretty awesome cherry sundae. It's like someone on the writing staff finally had a light go off and say "Fuck, the payoff to Marni and the Wiccans is going to be pretty lame, so we need to toss a shit ton of sweet cliffhangers to get the people turned off by this season back next year." With that said:
Cliffhanger 1:
I thought the "Where is Reverend Newlon. . ." was a throwaway line, meant to suggest he was just flat out killed. This is a great way to reintroduce the character.
Cliffhanger 2:
There's gotta be only a HANDFUL of people who knew Russell was buried there; something tells me Nan found out and pulled an ace out of the hole. . .so to speak.
Cliffhanger 3:
Glad Nan is gone. Yea she was a bitch - Bill and Eric forced to further team up is awesome. Although - who the hell only bring three humans/vampire bodyguards to a room with a 1000 year old vamp, who trumps you all. The kill reminded me of Godrics introduction to Eric.
Cliffhanger 4:
Vampire Tara. That or Tara gets connected to Bill or Eric like Sookie. Both will probably be a shitty time for her. . .or the better "cliffhanger" - she's dead. Cause really her character has run its course.

Holy flying double-post batman!
Cliffhanger 1:
I'm happy he's getting reintroduced, he's a good actor and I liked his from jesus character, seeing this spin on him will be a good twist if they go into detail.
Cliffhanger 2:
That's true, someone somewhere knew about it and did something fucking stupid. There goes the human race....part 2. My friend read up to book 7 and after this scene he said "It's like they took all the books and just poured oil and gasoline on em` and set em a blaze. Fuck the source material I guess. 'Here have some matches, yeah and some torches, yeah burn that shit.' "I laughed.
Cliffhanger 3:
I liked Nan, she was an ironic public figure that shined some truths into the fact that celebrities and politians act and make the same mistakes as everyday folk. However, seeing her killed was satisfactory. Except the fact that she only had time to curse Bill and Eric before death instead of doing something made me doubt her age and power. I would've done some acrobatics or put up a fight at least. Eric seemed to slice three heads off in the span of her screaming in vain. Kind of stupid.
Cliffhanger 4:
"I really hope she's dead. She's not even significant in the books, just a store owner and a very very minor sub character. Not that I don't like her in the series, it's just that everything that could go wrong for a person, has gone wrong for Tara. So good game for her.
Does anyone else think maybe Russell had a secret or long lost progeny that he may have reached out to? Surely Talbot wasn't the only one he sired over thousands of years.

Thing is, we've only ever seen these guys have ONE progeny at a time; almost like the rule of two with the Sith. Maybe its just some written thing that it is easier to manage the fierce loyalty of one progeny than many.
"I agree, vampires suck", "We're getting a little crispy up here", "We're not fucking puppy dogs!" and that entire pathetic scene where Eric kept thinking Sookie was choosing him and acting more like a 13 year old boy than a 1000 year old vampire. Can we get some believable writing for the characters again? And I'm already non-plussed about the 5 different plot lines they've already set up for next year.
They need to get back to a strong focused narrative like they had in season one, where all bets are off
It felt like the writers realized they did a bit too much in the previous episode, so the quick and poorly resolved Marnie finale was very unsatisfying. She didn't see the Wiccan waitress pouring salt in a slow circle around everything? Three random girls, only one of which has much real experience with witchcraft, out-do the most powerful character of the season, at her most powerful?
Very, very unsatisfying there. And you know it was bad if I can say that despite the fact that we have the wonderful prospect of never having to see or hear Tara again.
Didn't like to see Jesus go, and they didn't do justice to his demon-side storyline whatsoever.
All the Jason bits were good though, as usual. And I don't mind the Sam / Alcide stuff so much - hopefully that pair works together a bit more.

The "We're not fucking puppy dogs!" line was hilarious in light of the fact that he said it while covered in her blood and entrails.
lol, man I really enjoyed this season, and particularly the end with everything, but you guys are downers for sure.
About the witch resolution:
Someone asked why Marni goes to heaven, and I gotta ask, why do you think the ghosts are talking about heaven? I mean nothing described or shown really showed anything about afterlife at all, just that ghosts with unfinished buisness hang around but other ghosts get to go somewhere else(but also come back for Samhaien or whatever?)
Also, lol @ gram: Everyone dies alone. Way to boost Sookie's spirits.
I love Pam. I thought her scene in the office was touching.

This was the worst finale for True Blood, I'm glad Boardwalk Empire and Bored to Death will be starting soon. One thing that really disappointed me was:
The Witch went to all that trouble to get the Bruho magic from Jesus, and we didn't even get to see anything special. One could assume that she used it to capture Bill/Eric, but I would of liked to see that power put to use some way. In my opinion they killed off one of the better characters for nothing.
Fellowship boy is the one who freed Russel. He was the best thing going for his cause. My guess is he didn't realize Russ would be hungry, or maybe he did.
Also, where the deuce are the Jessica pics! My God man!
We saw with Pam that the witches spell could make even silvered vampires struggle hard enough to move a coffin(a 100 year old vamp at that). Russel is 3000 years old, him struggling against his bonds could be enough to losen the silver bonds and punch out at a later date. Aka Marnie did it. (calling it now).
option two is
Steve Newlin did it.
Jessica
In a little red ridding hood outfit.... I'll be in my bunk.
