I'm gonna be busy every October weekend with the Ren Fair and some video projects.
But take pictures and post them here!
Terrible, just terrible.
Also, Dave, if you're up for it during the week, I know there's one or two places down here in San Antonio the wife and I could take you to for dinner. If you have time for the drive.
that storm that passed through katy the other night lightninged and thundered for a few hours, then the rain split and went around us, we got less than an eighth of an inch

Nah, San Marcos. We got a pretty steady thirty minutes on Tuesday night, and it rained...last Thursday? I don't know, considering we went a couple of months without any.
The ranch got 3 inches from like the beginning of September -> 9/23

One of my old clients (or old bosses depending on how you interpret the surreal world of freelancing) was a Texan! He would phone me up at strange times before he got the hang of the time difference. Friendly chap though.

I kinda wish the storm that had blown over on Monday/Tuesday hadn't been mostly show.
It happens to be one of my really good friends' 21st birthday on November 1st so we're doing Halloween on 6th street and then she can officially buy alcohol at midnight. I expect her to be plastered. Should be fun.
Man we got some houseshaking thunder and some monsoon rains pouring down RIGHT now. soo happy, Yukira.
Daric - enjoy. Last year I did Northgate Halloween weekend for a ring dunk, a lot of fun. I was on the square for Halloween proper(worked both the Saturday and the Sunday). Haven't made it up to 6th St for Halloween, I expect it should be a blast.
This year, I'm unsure if I'm working, but Aggie friends are pressuring me into a C. Stat weekend.

Seems like every year, I hear people bitching about the drought. Yeah, it's pretty consistent every year. Sometimes, we get more rain in the summer cause of tropical storms and hurricanes, some years, not so much. This is one of those years.
But you can pretty much expect right around the end of September - December we'll get some decent rains. "Decent" for our area, at least. Hopefully this stays somewhat true. It's been pretty consistent according to my experiences.
I ain't no weatherman though.

Well yeah, I get that, it's just amusing that you're getting rain and you're about 15-30 minutes north and here I can go outside and a few layers of skin seared off.
Yukira, I know! Still being bombarded by school work, and actual work. Sometimes I get a weekend off, and then it means that I have to work the next three to make up for what I didn't earn that weekend. This being the start of my working weekend

Dress up like a jaffa.
Because Texas is awesome
I'm sure it is! I have heard it can be quite charming at times.
But then, nightmarish at others.
i might be able to swing that
STEAM!
Like anything else, it has its perks, but I guess depending on what you want in where you live it might not!
STEAM!
I can't actually drive Yukira and I'm gonna be relying on the friend I'm staying with for transport :P
STEAM!

That's cool. There doesn't appear to be someone I can swap shifts with so if anything happens on Friday, I'll be a bit late.

It is just flat out dry here in New Braunfels.

Maybe more southwest, though.
I actually composed that post before you posted, so...
I played golf the other day and hit my ball in the lake
and then I walked out there and got it
