So that ATI HD 6670 I ordered apparently is a dud. Now, I've installed video cards before, I couldn't be that stupid. I uninstalled my current drivers, plugged the new card into the motherboard and power supply and... nothing. Nothing except display not detected or whatever, then the monitor goes back to sleep. The monitor just didn't detect it for some reason. I mean, the fan worked and everything. I doublechecked to make sure I plugged everything in good and tight, but no go. Ideas? I mean, it won't even get to Windows boot screen.

I guess there's always the possiblity the power supply isn't good enough...

Edit: To clarify, I bought the power supply before I even thought about buying a new video card, that's why I went with something cheap.
How much RAM are you using and what kind of CPU, 485w is not horrible but it's also not great.

This. That card has a 6-pin connector on the top for power. Your power supply has a 6-pin connector that plugs into it.
