Got almost as good in 2 but not quite since the MP5 did so much less damage over a wider spread and the sneaking was less effective.
I remember getting ratios of 2 or 3 kills per death in MW1.

the M14 already sacrifices accuracy for power, I don't understand why you'd want to to sacrifice even more accuracy for a small amount of range capability
there's like, one map that requires more range than a silenced G3 provides in the first MW
that Asura's wrath game managed to make some fundamentally rad shit extremely boring

Shattered Dimensions was fun because the different Spider-Men were different enough that it stayed fresh

I disagree. I honestly thought that the Noir portion of Shattered Dimensions was horribly implemented and incredibly tedious. I had much more fun swinging and beating shit up.
Which is what Edge of Time seemed to be in the short time I've played it.
Spider-Man running down corridors and beating up hordes of thugs and then maybe a big thug and then maybe a boss
that is pretty much the entire game give or take a few qtes and freefall sequences
I just don't get how a developer decides to make a Spider-Man game, the best of which have been loved for their wide-open web swinging, and make it a corridor beat-em-up
