It's alright, bit dated first person rpg, little short, but it has it's charm, all depends on the price I'd say.

Anyone know an adventure game where you start in a labyrinthine desert city?

I feel like I shouldn't be drawing a blank on this.

Can we talk about a great game for a second?
Probably my second or third favorite game of all time and more than likely the hardest game I have ever played. A game with thirteen possible endings but people probably only saw three of them because of how difficult the game was.

There's a copy of this sitting under my bed completely untouched, thanks for reminding me.

OH MY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?! GO PLAY IT NOW!

Oh no...I just remember I left this game unfinished!
I bought a copy secondhand about a year ago. Planning on playing it after I play through The Last Express. I didn't know there were that many endings!

    Adventure games are so neat.

I wasted days... DAYS... Playing Stunts. Designing killer tracks and then driving on them? Yes please! Loved it. Absolutely loved it.

Stunts was awesome. It also stands out as the game that made us realize our 8086 was too out of date, and led us to buy a 486/33. That 486 lasted me longer than any other computer I've owned.

Man, I didn't play Last Express at all! It sounded so amazing when I first read about it.

Yeah I brought up the Journeyman project earlier.

I only played buried in time though, my dad would never buy me any of the others.

I could not beat the game either. Shit was hard.

if it was the second one, alot of the 2nd discs of that one were messed up.

When we got it, Presto studios still existed and sent us a new disc 2.

You can get the second game on GoG!

  • TallahasseerielTallahasseeriel Registered User regular
Also the second one is impossible for me to figure out.

    I can't figure the interface.

Is that The Last Express? I should play that.

The Last Express takes place on a train, the screenshot is from Ripley's Believe it or Not: The Riddle of Master Lu. It's a neat anachronistic adventure game about Robert Ripley, famous world-traveler and cartoonist. In addition to exploring ancient ruins and thwarting the plans of nefarious organizations bent on unlocking an ancient power, you occasionally need to send inventory items back to your Odditorium museum in Chicago for display, to attract patrons, pay bills, and stay out of debtors prison.

    We'll get back there someday.

The only Journeyman Project game I completed was the third one

I kept dying too much on the first one and the second one had the messed-up disc

    3 was fun though!

Also I played the King's Quest games mostly because the hero had the same name as me but they were pretty fucking hard

    Has anyone mentioned Myst yet?
