I went to the release party and had an awesome time. I got Mal and Ryan North to sign my DS, and I was so happy. They each drew a little sketch with their signatures.

Also, the pizza was fancy. :P

Also, when I asked if I could get the FCBD book because I missed it, he said "Sure!" and gave me a big stack.

I love Brian Lee O'Malley. So much.

I'd really like to get the FCBD book as well, but I don't think it's available in Sweden... :(

Contact Oni or Mal. They are both very customer friendly and I imagine will be thrilled to have a fan in Sweden. If that doesnt work, ask around here and other places if someone has a spare. IF you really just want to read it, Newsarama has the whole thing on their forum.

Okay. Is this worth $17.00? Because that's how much I'm gonna spend if I decide to import it, what with shipping and all. :(

Where do you live? Because I have to import it and it only costs me like fourteen bucks in total.

Also, yes, it is worth it.

The Philippines. Amazon's putting some $12.00 on shipping alone, and the only book store here that would special order it for me puts it at roughly $17.00 total.

I do have a friend who's in the US right now, so maybe I can get her to buy it for me instead. :D

I think a really good theme song for volume 3 would be Reel Big Fish's She's Famous Now.

I thought volume 3 bounced around with the flashbacks too much, but it was still really good. plenty of LOL moments for me.

It was like God took pity of me, and he illuminated a copy of Scott Pilgrim that was partly hidden between stacks of porn, as I was rummaging through our country's Filbar's.

Everything is good, and cool, and by cool I mean totally sweet.

In case anyone cared, Bryan Lee O'Malley is doing a sort of "Annotated Scott Pilgrim" via his LiveJournal.

He was just at one of my local shops last weekend doing book signings or something, I didn't know he was going to be there though.

Oh well since he lives here I'm sure he will do it again.

I have all three volumes and the FCBD issue now. I got Vol. 1 & 2 just before I left on vacation and took them with me. Awesome.

For someone late to the party, how long has the wait been between volumes?

    About one volume per year.

I just wish Sharknife was up to volume three, instead of still being on volume one. :( Lewis has done other work though, but I guess he works really slow.

There is a chance of their being a Sharknife/Scott crossover at some point the future. "Rey" is apparently really excited about it, while "Mal" seems more chill about it. It was in a CBR interview from quite a while ago.

Yes, Douglas, Christ, everybody knows already. Scott Pilgrim and Sharknife and the possible crossover are the only things you ever speak favourably about. And you do it constantly. We get it, it's great, all of it, yes. We know now.

That's not all I ever talk about. I love The Goon, Hellboy, BPRD, Planetary, We3, Marvel Boy, 7S, Livewires, Nextwave, the recent Adam Strange and The Question mini series. I like what I have read of Ultimate Fantastic Four. I like what little I have seen of Annhilation. I like what I have seen of Exiles. I liked Weapon X. I like a lot of things.

I just don't like most company wide crossovers. A lot of the discussion has been about Infinite Crisis/52 and Civil War, I do not like those.

I don't have any authority to tell you what to do, so take anything I have to tell you with a grain of salt.

    But.

Maybe you should focus more of your posting energy on the discussion of things that you do like, rather than the bemoaning of things you don't. It would represent an evolution in DouglasDanger.

    Also, I like Scott Pilgrim.

I had not realized I was being such a whiner. I have been an iffy mood lately, for a variety of reasons. I did not realize my posting reflected this. Thanks for the heads up. (again, being serious rather than sarcastic)

Do you have forty bucks? You should give it to Scott Pilgrim and let him show you how to spend it in style.
