Is.. is.. is X-TREME Prime going to be fighting X-TREME Bugs Bunny, or Samurai Jack? Or maybe he will star in the shittier Sonic cartoon as Robotnik's new sidekick?
Is it just me or is there pretty much a new Spiderman cartoon every year?
Yeah, but most of them are post-high school... this one looks like it has an Ultimate Spidey feel, which would be sexcellent. Although it does appear to be the 616 Gwen. Sadness.

I'm liking the Spider-man look. I'm a bit apprehensive about them putting it on WB.
On the one hand, it's not fucking 4KidsTV.
On the other hand, WB only has a slightly better track record when it comes to keeping (good)shows on it's line-up.

Did you just compare Samurai Jack to fucking Loonatiks and that shitty new Sonic Cartoon?
You bitch.
That should be punishable by death.
Samurai Jack and Loonatiks should only be compared if one is saying "Where as Samurai Jack is quality, Loonatiks is the exact opposite in that it is a pile of shit."
Even then.
Just add a period or a pause in there, so they aren't in the same sentence.

If it's any good, Cartoon Network will grab it up.
Look at X-Men Evolution. And, a bit backwards, but Teen Titans started on Cartoon Network, then started showing on WB, then the whole "Oh shit one characters father is basically Satan" and WB folded like an origami crane. CN kept showing it. Hell, they showed an extra season.
sniff... I miss X-Men: Evolution... it had just gotten really, really good...
then it was gone.
Luckly, Jackie Chan Adventures stuck around for like, 30 more years... that was much, much better. >.<

Man, I really liked that brief, for some unknown reason 3D Spider-Man that was on MTV. Why they thought a reasonably kid-oriented show would last on MTV, I have no goddamn idea.

I enjoyed Evolution, but I never really got into it. I love Jackie Chan Adventures, though. It's one of those series like Gargoyles where I'm just amazed that they could keep thinking up more things for them to go find, bad guys to fight, random storylines...
Jackie Chan and X-Men Evolution are complete opposites, in my mind, with the former losing steam and becoming formulaic towards the ends of its run while the latter gained ground up until a final season that exceeded every expectation I'd had for the program.
The Spider-Man is reminding me of The Batman's animation style slightly. God... what an abomination.
You do not talk about Sean Galloway's art like that you bitch.
And it's being directed by Greg "I made Gargoyles the best fucking action cartoon of the 90's that wasn't made by Bruce Timm or Paul Dini" Weisman. So it's shaping up to be pretty awesome on the whole.

I loved Jackie Chan Adventures. I always found it ironic though, that whatever show that came on after, invariably always an anime, had all the guns, demons and violence censored out, while Jackie Chan Adventures didn't.
Also, these new Transformers will probably turn into giant metal anorexic girls with enormous boobs.

From a pure animation look "The Batman" is quality. The fights are fluid and well drawn. It's everything else that sucks about it.
Sure the animation is of a high technical quality but holy shit are the designs ever terrible.
You mean people in the future aren't going to look like human/spider hybrids?
Damn... I was looking forward to impossibly long limbs that bend at weird angles... and mandatory anorexia... that would have been sweet.

Cartoon and Hasbro executives told the trade paper that the new series, Transformers Animated, will be significantly different from the others, adding humor, never-before-seen characters and a new premise in which the Autobots fight evil humans in superhero fashion much more frequently than they battle the Decepticons, the traditional Transformers enemy since the franchise launched as a toy line in 1984.
I like Bumblebee and Ratchet's designs. Ironhide and who I think is Prowl's are goddawful, and Prime. Well. He's pretty bad too. Also, he's a Firetruck.
How does an "evil human" fight a giant robot that can turn into a mac truck?
Do you get them to blow themselves up with a paradox?

That doesn't make sense. It's like giving money to your rivals. Like a RARE game on the DSohhhhhhhhh
You bitch.
And I meant the shitty OLD cartoon.
The non-ABC one.
Yeah.
THAT shit.

There was one in 2002.
The one before that was in 1994.
And the Spiderman Unlimited cartoon too.

That was in either 97 or 99, and it only lasted for a season anyway.
Still the point stands. They're pretty well spaced out.

Wasn't there some CG one too, or was that the 2002 one?

That looks like cheeks design, and he even said he did all the designs for the show.
he even has the little ad on his blog.
