    I don't think anyone doesn't enjoy receiving, but I do get an unnatural enjoyment from giving Secret Satans. I don't know why; I think maybe it's because I'm always so clueless with my own family and friends, but with a relative stranger on the internet it's somehow easier to give anything.

    One of my favourite things about Secret Satan is when people post previews of the handcrafted gifts they're putting together, or otherwise tease and hint at what they're sending. It draws out the excitement and makes the whole thing a shared experience.

    For instance, it's obvious from the pictures that Sheri is making a Q*Bert quilt. But will my sharp powers of observation be vindicated come the next picture? And who will this Q*Bert draped gentleperson be?
