Hahaha fuck, I just had a pretty terrible wake up. Was dreaming about being on an island with giant animals, and was sort of startled awake when the animals started killing everyone in my dream. Soon as I wake up I turn my head and see what looks like a giant fucking spider right next to my face. I fucking jumped across the room.
I went to look at the car my brother is interested in.

Oh man I feel for you bro. I don't do spider's and that would of made me literally shit myself no doubt.

If his car is not an LPG card that is also amphibious, he's being sold a lemon.

It is only now being fitted with an LPG system, it was up on the ramp when I went to see it (which was handy, actually, I was basically looking at panel gaps and for any evidence of crash repair).
That does kind of beg the question of why the director of a company that makes, sells, and fits LPG conversion systems didn't have one fitted to their own car.

I had no idea that Amigas were a UK thing. That's odd.
But yes, those pretty much were the gaming system of my childhood. I had a 1200 (and a C64). Most of my friends had 500+s or 600s. Those were incredible computers.

Certainly not, we are fully committed to supporting Z. Here is an update on each format.
iOS – We are working on 2-3 and four player via Game Centre. This will be a free upgrade with 5+ levels with further level pack/packs available via in app purchase.
Android – As previously stated we have completed this version. We are waiting for Google to release/upgrade the app size limit to 2gig from 50meg. I appreciate we could release a small portion of the game through “Android Market” and allow the end user to download the remaining part from a server. We have contacted a number of specialist companies who would handle this for us. the lowest quote was $0.25 per download. None of the companies contacted could offer a service that differentiated between people who had purchased the game from those who had a pirated version. The average ratio of piracy on the Android platform could be as high as 100 pirated versions to each copy purchased . If it is as high as 100-1 we would be paying $25 to the server company against each copy we sell…………result we would be out of business:-)
MAC and PC – The mac version is only days away from completion. The problem has been screen resolution. The original PC version was fixed at 320*240 which quite frankly looked c**p on today’s Mac/PC’s. The end user can now select what screen resolution they want to play the game in. We are now fixing some minor screen clipping issues caused by increasing the visible game area on larger monitors i.e. objects appearing in the wrong place or only partially displayed. The Mac version will be released first via the Mac App Store with the PC version being submitted to Steam for approval.
Playbook – Will be out before Christmas. We have experienced problems with the sound drivers supplied by RIM/Blackberry.
I’m sorry for the lack of news/updates. We are a small team, we need to get things right if we do the Bitmaps have promised we can develop and release Z Steel Solders Next.
IMO playing in a beta is a surefire way to hate a game. Far too often you get treated like QA with none of the salary or bug reporting tools. Consider it a fair warning against buying a MMO on day 1.
Skyrim woes: Lydia just got killed. Should I care?
All NPCs will last exactly one fight because they're useless.
I heard Lydia was supposed to be tagged as invulnerable, unless the PC kills her.
So I've read, anyway. I don't have Skyrim.
Maybe she's supposed to be, but she very much is vulnerable to being stupid and charging any red targets and then dying with or without the player shooting her in the back.
Her corpse is lying just outside my house. For some reason it's persistent.

My dad had a Windows PC since 3.1 (then 95, 98, and ME), but it was only really from XP onwards that Windows really got as slick as the Amiga, so I wasn't really interested. It did start getting some decent games in the 95 era, though.

The 1200 was my first own computer. I was ten?. Then I had a 486 later. And then routinely had a PC of some description.
Actually, maybe the 486 came first? We always had shitloads of PCs about. The C64 was there from as long as I can remember, but it was shared with my brother.

Welcome to the TOR beta, this issues are far from uncommon.
I don't know if this is intentional or not, but bravo.

Gramatical error in your post about errors and bugs in MMO betas.
ronya you are english right? amiga fan?
Oh, well typically yes but in TOR's case there is so much stupidity in their beta process that it doesn't make scene.
Like really? Having to redownload 30gigs per beta client. really you cant salvage any of the Voice acting, world geometry or models?
no hot fixes for simple things like bugged quest item timers
hell they couldn't even give us complete patch notes

... no? You are referring to the non-IBM PC, I presume?

The Amiga line were a series of computers made by Commodore, the first really big one was the A500 in 1987.
There's an entire generation in the UK that grew up with them the way that a lot of US people grew up with the NES.
But yes, those pretty much were the gaming system of my childhood. I had a 1200 (and a C64). Most of my friends had 500+s or 600s. Those were incredible computers.
I carried on using a 68040 powered A1200 right up until I went to Uni in 2001. That was a great computer.
No, not really. A person in the game got killed in an unscripted fight.
Neat.
... clearly I got into it late!
