    If you don't do Tim Tam Slams they're just ok. If you do Tim Tam Slams they are unbelievable

    I worked with an Australian my first year here (also the first time I had ever seen or heard of a Tim Tam) and she showed me how it was done. With two caveats, though - I've only ever used coffee (Tim Tams and tea?) and the way I learned you hold the Tim Tam in your mouth instead of with your hands, and then slam your head back to shotgun it right into your mouth after it gets all coffee-laden.

    ...actually I just ate two of them that way right now.

    No you do it with coffee or hot chocolate.

    Doing it with tea is both dumb and not nice tasting.

    Thus ruining perfectly good tea and tim tams.
