Oh snap, goosebumps. Those books scared me so bad as a kid. Especially Slappy the Dummy. The tv show was pretty bad though.

The TV Series blew ass. Major ass. I doubt they'd ever green light a movie. Not to mention there's just too much content to cover anywhere near faithfully with a movie.

    Now Everworld, maybe

    Wait, what was everworld?

And honestly, an Animorphs movie could be decent if they just did a chunk of the story. Say, the first attack on the pool. The kids get their powers, spend some time experimenting, and then raid the shit out of the yeerks.

OK, I'm at work and I had a thought that there is probably Animorphs fanfic out there, and it involves sex...in animal forms...between characters where one may or may not be in animal form.

OH GOD THE INTERNETS HAS CORRUPTED ME!

Also, I bet a lot of furries grew up loving Animorphs.

A group of us will be watching a screening of the movie this evening.

Also, if anybody's near Westwood, CA, they have a bunch of the robots and cars on display in front of the Fox theater.

It was an excellent summer blockbuster explosion feature, just don't go in expecting recycled crap. Michael Bay's best cheese yet!

You could never do justice to the 40k universe with one movie. Or even several movies.

What I'm saying is we need a long running TV series with a budget the size of the gross domestic product of a medium sized European country.

Yeah. Apparently they spent so much on R&D for the TFs they have to make sequels to break even.

Shia, Megan and Peter Cullen have all signed up.

Tom DeSanto says he's pushing for Grimlock and Devastator.

I mean, why even have a damn sequel if Unicron isn't going to be in it.

Haha, whoops. Sorry, it's just so rare that I see a movie before everyone else.

It's not that big a spoiler anyway. Overall, the actual functioning of the cube is pretty incidental to the plot.
