Cylon Virus - 13PB:
Pass: No Effect
Fail: All characters in the "FTL Control" location are sent to "Sickbay." Then place 1 centurion marker at the start of the Boarding Party track
Destiny - 2 cards
Cain - Pass via CO
Cavil - Pass: No cards
Cally - Pass: No cards
Adama - 1 card
Apollo - Pass
Baltar -
Cylon Virus - 13PB:
Pass: No Effect

I'm tempted to escort the rest of those Civilian ships off the board so the raiders will start shooting at Galactica. If we're going to lose, we can at least prevent Cavil from winning if he has the Salvage their Equipment agenda. :ar!
Is there any reason for me not to activate heavy raiders?
Pity?
never heard of it, does it taste good?
(Military Leader)HELENA CAIN
2 LEAD, 2 TAC, 1 TAC/LEAD
General Ability: Intolerant - When an "Admiral Quarters" Skill Check is passed with a 10 or more, you may choose to execute that character instead of sending him to the “Brig”.
One-Time Ability: Blind Jump - Action: Once per game, if at 6 or less distance, draw 2 civilian ships and destroy them to immediately jump the fleet (even if the fleet marker is on a red space). The Admiral only draws 1 Destination Card.
Disadvantage: Bent on Revenge - You may not activate the "FTL Control" or "Engine Room" locations.
Yeah, I mean. I'm at a loss here... if you don't want to play anymore and at least try and get out of this mess... say you quit so someone else can maybe jump in for you.
This is a ridiculous move. I request the GM intervene in this case and overrule or find someone else. If I were playing at a table with you guys and the player went to make this move, there'd be uproar.
Edit: Basically our only chance since Adama goes next is for you to XO me since I'm in the Armory. If you didn't get an XO, IMO, the Humans have lost and we should stop this now. If you did, it should be used on me. Your move effectively ends the game because Adama will activate Heavies again to win.
So if you have an XO, use it. If you don't let's just stop now right? You drew Leadership as your optional draw so I think you were at least hoping for this.
Edit #2: LOL, I see what Cally did.
Cally probably did NOT get an XO and is setting up the Civvies to die in case Raiders get activated from her crisis. And, if so, will kill the civvies and then hopefully damage some Galactica locations, hopefully denying Cavil a win.
If this is the case, you're ok in my book Kayne Red Robe. If we're going down, we're hopefully taking you with us Cylon Leader scum.
Cally: Preferred order of Raider activation if this happens: Sector 1, Sector 3, Sector 4. Basically, we'd need one of the first two Raiders in Sector 1 to score a hit on the Viper. Anyone got a StratPlan? LOL.

He could be trying this.
I mean, it won't work (there are no raiders at 1).
You should check again, according to last board update, there are.
Code Blue - 13YGP:
Current Player Chooses:
Pass: The current player looks at 1 random Loyalty Card of any player
Fail: -1 morale and current player is sent to the “Brig”
OR Each player discards 2 Skill Cards and draws 2 Treachery Cards
Activate Heavy Raiders
Prepare for Jump
Hilarious! So much for the human race.
Cylons are Victorious
And Cavil's Agenda? Salvage Their Equipment:
The Cylons have won AND 2 or fewer Galactica locations are damaged.
This is a busy couple of days but I'll write up my thoughts and some amusing things I could see happen from my position at some point today. Thanks for playing everyone
LOL, I would say that the Cylon Spreadsheet stacked up against the humans about as perfectly as one could hope (or fear in my case). I've never seen things go so well for the Cylons in terms of Crisis selections.

Heh, yeah, I was hoping to draw an XO but I didn't get one so I figured I would at least try and deny Cavil his victory. It didn't work, but ah well.
So there were no hidden Cylons pre-sleeper, just a mean destiny deck. I wasn't sure how things were going to go for Cavil and his Cylons Win agenda but he apparently didn't have anything to worry about. Both Cain and Adama getting to reveal off an XO were great for them, and the string of Heavy Raider activations on top of the humans inadvertently using their precious few actions to XOing Cylons was devastating.
The two Iron Wills that showed up in an early check were both put there by different humans. That was pretty fun to watch.
I initially thought that Cavil might go for a Food victory after he drew his super crisis. It was The Farm which, among other things, was fairly likely to lose the humans a Food. The crisis deck had a few food losses coming up but without knowing about them Food victory probably looked unlikely. He surprised me by choosing to damage the Hangar Deck over Galactica's Food token, which was the other he pulled when he activated the Basestar Bridge. The Calculations to get a Centurion on board from Set a Trap's roll was very well timed given the three Heavy activations in a row right after.
Cally drew Political Prowess in his opening hand and kept looking for anyone remotely suspicious to Airlock so he could use it, but with no pre-sleeper Cylons he couldn't find anyone. He finally put it in for the last check, which destiny got rid of with Red Tape.
Cain had great luck drawing 6-strength cards. I think he started with both State of Emergency and Scout for Fuel, used both and drew them again in time for sleeper phase. I don't know what I would have done in his position on the turn he played State of Emergency. Obviously Blind Jump was out of the question. SoE turned out to be perfect, drawing an XO from Cally to prove his loyalty during the critical few turns the humans had to deal with Centurions.
Baltar's decision to use Authorization of Brutal Force to take out some key raiders was another surprise to me. Cavil's Centurion had moved up a space by then I believe, and I see ABF as a great trump card in case of Cylon boarders. Of course, I could see the multiple Heavy activations coming up so that may have influenced my thoughts.
Adama got so hilariously unlucky with crisis cards I swear that deck was out to get him. He was able to use his OPG to refill his empty hand right before his turn and subsequent reveal which was great and probably would have mattered more if the game didn't end so quickly, as he got to keep some high strength cards from it.
Apollo might have looked a little suspicious early on just because of the destiny deck's piloting cards showing up pretty often but his OPG to escort a whole stack of civilians was pretty amazing. If I was playing in the game I would have taken that as 99% proof of his humanity, because he could have used it to fly a bunch of vipers into certain death so as a Cylon bluff it would mean getting rid of a huge reveal for him. As the CAG, considering his AVP ability and how crowded space was getting he was sure to get some XOs that a Cylon would use to majorly screw humans.
Cain's destinations were:
Jump 1
Cain's choice:
Radioactive Cloud
Distance: 2, Fuel -1, Population -1
Passed on:
Icy Moon
Distance: 1, Fuel: -1
Admiral may risk 1 Raptor: Roll 1d8, 1-2 = lose Raptor, 3-8 =+1 Food
Jump 2
Cain's choice:
Gas Cloud
1 Distance, 0 Fuel
Admiral looks at top 3 Crisis Cards, then places them on the top or bottom in any order
Passed on:
Tylium Planet
Distance: 1, -1 Fuel
Admiral may risk 1 Raptor: Roll 1d8, 1-2 = lose Raptor, 3-8 = +2 fuel
Both jumps were as a human and jump 2 was going to put the game into sleeper phase with distance 4 and 6 fuel. I think I would have made the same choices.
I'll do a final board update later for completeness and post some information I don't have access to right now like ending hands and super crisis cards. As my first time moderating a PbP things went pretty well. I made mistakes, none gamebreaking but avoiding them would have been preferable. I may start another game in the coming week or two so lurkers can keep an eye out for that. Priority will go to people who signed up but were not chosen, then anyone else, and players from this game last. Gotta try to give everyone a chance to play

Playing this got me hankering to run a BSG PbP game... never done it here on Penny Arcade though. Is there always a high demand or is it hard for games to fill?

There is always plenty of interest. You normally get at least 10 sign ups. I know I will sign up if you run a game.
Seems like there's enough interest to run two games at once. The spreadsheet I used is here.
Yep, that's the one I use as well.
Maybe I'll run a Base Set game with priority going to people who are brand new or still pretty new to BSG and would like a more basic game instead of a daunting Exodus / Pegasus game. I know we had some sign up for this one that weren't too familiar with the later expansions.

Baltar, what say ye?
I'm not burning my cards on this
Launch Raiders
3 Raiders placed in sector 1
Edit: I'll get Cain's optional draw and do a board update later tonight.
He moves to the Cylon Fleet and activates heavy raiders
Centurions advance, now 1 on space 2 and 2 on space 3
Cavil draws 1 Tactics,1 Treachery and can go ahead with his turn
I feel that discussing your action before you take it, is always a good option.
That is the best way to go.
Pity?
1 on space 3, 2 on space 4
Cally, what would you like for your single draw?

Two games running at the same time? 2012 will be awesome.
