    What you should do is just seperate the hat from the background imge, that will make for a much more maintainable php avatar.

    Its not like it took me 3 hours to make all those. Maybe 20 minutes.

    Yeah, I just keep all my items on seperate layers in photoshop. Nice and easy.

    these will work fine, but if there is ever another avatar size change....

    I would like a pimp hat for the monkey but after a couple of weeks

    1asphost.com fucks me over and locks all my images up and i cannout get them back.

    There was a pair of paints in my AV for god sake :(

    Okay, am i doing something wrong? If a rename avatar.png to index.php it works fine. But when i try the .png i get this error, The image “http://members.lycos.co.uk/rlove42/avatars/avatar.png” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

    Lycos doesnt support .htaccess IIRC for security reasons. Bad things could happen otherwise. Im not even sure if they run apache :P

    Last time I checked (granted it was more than 6 months ago), lycos.co.uk did allow .htacess files, but it also adds advertisment code which fucks the image.
