When an unexpected enemy emerges who threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, the director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team of superheroes to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

So there's a commercial for the Avengers Super Bowl commercial that'll be out next week. It looks pretty good.

There was also a Twitter Q&A with some of the cast/crew today that had some info I guess, the best of which was that the film is going to get remastered for IMAX screens.

    Gonna be amazing

    I was relieved when Whedon said his original draft was pretty much Iron Man and Pals and he went back and made it a true ensemble, and that the cast was pretty much a united front. No one counted scenes or wanted more screentime, they all just worked together to make the movie.

    Skrulls aren't in the movie.

    Kevin Fiege said that the aliens are existing MU things but they aren't a build-up to the Kree/Skrull War or anything like that.

    I ain't spoilering aliens because they are in the dang trailer for a commercial that is gonna air on the Super Bowl.
