Weirdness....

LeaveMeAloneLeaveMeAlone Registered User regular
I made a thread, people posted, same old same old. I came back to check it, 3 post disapeared, then when I posted about this, the post reapeared. The I go back to the index, the to G&T, then to my post, says 6 replies, but only shows one, what the hell?

thread: http://www.penny-arcade.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=48196

Anyone else only see one reply?

    I see 6 replies.

Sounds like your browser is using cached pages.

    Cache?

Browser saves the page for future use, person reloads the thread later, it uses the old, saved copy that doesn't have the new posts, instead of getting a new one, so it can save time. Then he clicks back, it gets a new G&T index that says 6 posts, whereas the cached one has 1 post in it.

I was making the suggestion, not inquiring. Apologies for the confusion.

Ah. You can just delete that post then, if you want.

The more I hear about Firefox, the happier I am that I'm sticking with Firebird 0.7. It actually works right.
