Pizza will always be one of my favorite foodstuffs, cause it tastes great and you can get a lot for a small amount of money. Beer fits similar criteria

I wish I could still drink pale ales and IPAs on the regular, but something about them now tends to really irritate my digestive tract and make me very gassy and even nauseous after a couple of pints.

The worst/best pizza is Mad Mushroom. Its open 24/7 on weekends and is located in the college towns around here. Like near Purdue and IU, it tends to be the only place to get food after 3am.
There is a place around the corner from me that makes really lovely thin crust pizza in a wood fired oven for £5 and you get a beer with that if you're taking it out.
In London where the chain pizza places (dominos, hut) prices start at what xe.com is telling me is $28 that's pretty great.

Hm. That's weird. Have you tried noting the filtering and conditioning of beers you drink that give you problems? Yeast would be my first guess. If it's hops though, you might be SOL on IPAs, but there are some other pale ale styles with strong profiles that aren't so hoppy.
Well, it's not just hoppy beers that affect me like that. It's pretty hit and miss and I don't know if it's the beer I'm drinking or something about my body chemistry from one day to the next. But I used to like amber ales a lot also before I got into pale ales and now I can't drink those either. Part of it is that I don't like the taste of amber ales any more (too sweet and malty for my liking) but they also upset my stomach. And most beer will also make me super sleepy after a pint or two on top of possible nausea. I seem to tolerate lagers and pilsners reasonably well, but generally I just don't drink as often and when I do it's usually cocktails or wine.
