I can't see the first post on any page

I'm on IE7 and can't change that. The first post on any page in any thread is just a big white block.

I had the same problem at work. Turning off compatibility view fixed it for me.

Have the same problem. If I could change my browser at work, I would.

One thing I noticed, if there is ONLY one post on a page, I can see it. However as soon as a second post is made, the first on the page becomes nothing but a white block. No words, no poster name or avatar, no quote/awesome/report buttons, nothing. Just empty white space in the general size and shape the post would have been.

Before following any advice, opinions, or thoughts I may have expressed in the above post, be warned: I found Keven Costners "Waterworld" to be a very entertaining film.

Yep, that's exactly what's happening with me as well. I can't see my own first post in this thread now.

I am also having this issue. It is fairly recent, maybe since the last update?

EDIT: I only have the issue at work, where we use IE7, at home I have IE(later version) and it is not happening there.

Yeah, it's happened since that upgrade they did last week.

This issue is confirmed, we're sorting it out. Sorry IE7 guys, you already have a hard enough life.

I think it's more our fault for being 3+ years behind the tech curve.

Well, yeah, but we didn't get the opportunity to upgrade till IE8. That was 2009.

In any case, I would still like it if you could get the bird to peck the pictures on my stone tablet faster. :rotate:

Funny, because in Chrome right now, I can't see any post BUT the first one of any thread. Everything else is just empty. I won't even be able to see this reply once I post it.

It's fixed at home on Chrome, I'll check at work tomorrow (I use a different stylesheet at home than at work).

@Decomposey did you clear your cache?

No, I'm actually not ALLOWED to clear my history, as my work wants to be able to see what I'm doing at any given moment, so they disabled that option. Believe me, I tried.

Gonna see if I can bribe one of my IT guys with some french fries and get firefox or something.

Still can't see anything in Chrome from work. At home I am using a custom stylesheet, at work I'm not. I've cleared my cache, cookies, etc. I'll try it in IE9, just to see, but who knows.

Works "fine" in IE9 (as fine as IE can work)...so it's not the network.
