No pictures, but I just got Blackhawk, from the New Frontier series. The modelling on these figures is amazing, a great 3-D representation of Cooke's art. I also plan on picking up Superman and placing him right next to good ol' Commie Superman.

This thread needs a jumpstart. You folks need to start setting priorities with your purchases. Remember, comics and action figures first, food and rent second.

    z0mg crazy Maul pix!!

    darthmaul2.jpg

Also, Sideshow Collectibles added a new statue to their Marvel lineup. It's, well, pretty hot.

    Awesome

Those Sideshow statues always look really nice, but unfortunately they're 200% too big. I don't even have a shelf wide enough to put that Colossus statue on.

Well, my wallet is hurtin' some more. Master Replicas has started to announce their new lineup of Marvel products..

    box_2_prod.gif

Full size high quality replica of Spideys mask. $129.00, which is surprisingly cheap for a Master Replicas product. For those that don't know, Master Replicas makes really great prop replicas for a few different licenses (Star Wars, Pirates, Star Trek etc..). They are a bit pricey, espeically things like Lightsaber hilts and Blasters, but they are great pieces. (Yes, I whore for them too..)

That will fire away your money in the general direction of Sideshow toys?

Anyhow... when are those Hellboy/BPRD series 2 toys coming out?

Make sure you take the safety off...

Factory X made two masks / helmets. Dr. Doom and Iron Man.

    Factory X

Though you can't buy directly from them unless you're a retailer (I think), just do a google search and you can find an online retailer.

EDIT - Buy the mask from Ebay, much cheaper

Alex Ross also designed a few 1:1 busts based off of his work. There was Hulk, Captain America, Dr. Doom, Spidey, Green Goblin, The Thing, and Iron Man.

    Dr. Doom

There are some great Mattel JLU customs on that site. It's amazing how many different characters you can make with the basic body type and a little paint.

Both Batgirl and Supergirl are from a story called Elseworlds Finest. That's all I know, except for the fact that her chest is that gigantic in the book.

Looks like I won't be taking those days off in the next few months..

    Master Replicas Marvel offerings..

    IMG_0115.jpg

Sideshow has a bunch of new stuff as well, especially in the Star Wars department (1:1 scale C3PO and R2D2 anyone?), but I thought this was sex-tacular.

    IMG_0220.jpg

The only way I could love this more is if they used real fabric for the hood and cloak, but still...wow.

Now if only DC would allow Sideshow to use their license...

So I was looking at Hellboy and Lobster today, and wondered when more Mezco Hellboy Comic toys would be released. Apparently they will be released fall 2006. Mezco really should do Nocturnals and The Amazing Screw-On Head figures. Mezco really gets the style of the different properties and transfers them to action figures rather than statues.
