How probable is it that the pragmatic faction eventually wins as crushing a victory over the religious faction as the religious faction itself did to their rivals after the Iranian Revolution?
In my opinion neither of the factions are really changing the system in the dramatic faction of 1979. At least when it comes to those in this election. The actual reformist are not allowed in the election and are probably the only groups that could oust the religious leadership from their position.
In reality it will probably take a movement like what has happened in Egypt with the military joining with the protesters to throw out the supreme leader. And that would probably turn out bloody like Syria thanks to the existence of the revolutionary guard under the Supreme Leaders direct control compared to the military which is under the civilian government.
The current pragmatic faction with in the conservative faction which could win tomorrow won't be a shift in Iranian international policy or internal politics in any major way.
Better pragmatic conservatives than religious ones. The line can be a little tricky to draw, anyway. Gorbachev certainly believed in the supremacy of the Soviet Union.
Realistically it can limit liberalization for as long as the oil exists.
Holy shit, SimCity 4 was released in 2003? Ten years ago!
Seinfeld premiered 20 years ago
Yeah but SimCity 4 was the 'new' one. I was looking at screenshots of it and I thought they looked kind of bad, and I look over and saw the release date!
SimCity, 2000, and 3000 were all released in ten years.

What you are missing neither of them are secular. Both are religious. You can't even get on the ballot in Iran unless you go through the guardian council. The difference is if they back Khamenei more than Ahmenacrazy(This man has earned his nickname damn it). But neither want to remove the Islamic portion of the Islamic Republic.

No, neither are secular, but it seems safe to say that one faction is more religious than the other faction.
I agree from a health pov but fuck these people are agonizingly lame to listen to. I want to down a 6 pack of coke just to spite them.
People who argue against processed sugar and HFCS tend to make horrible arguments. Which is funny, because I'm buying what they're selling. Chiefly to replace crap with tasty. A fresh baked brownie is so much more nom than a Little Debbie, and you'll eat fewer of them because the effort involved was more than nothing. Same with drinks. Coffee, tea, cocoa, and liquor is so much more enjoyable than coke or pepsi. Though cream soda is still pretty great.

I'm one of the worst adults OR kids I know of.
I'll love you Winky. Just leave the money on the dresser before we begin so I can count it. And no kissing or looking me in the eye.

But it's just a cute aesthetic why are dudes all up in arms about it?
People are all like "steam punk shot my dog"
It was a steam powered rifle
Your dog is probably fine
People just say it is ghetto, never really been there much myself so i can't really say.
I'm at work! At my day job! I've worked here for five weeks and they haven't fired me or anything!
It's a creamy sort of... of soda. I'm not sure there's anything comparable in the UK. At least, I can't remember if there is.
glad to hear it, man
Congrats, squirm!
Now, get back to work!
