He was using overlords dropping creep + queens and tumors to sort of chain together an instant highway, he got his creep out to select's pocket third, and narrowly missed the chance to block a command center from landing.

I wonder if one day queens in an overlord dropping creep tumors will ever become a thing.
You can get away with just 1 queen and a speed overlord since the queen needs time to regenerate energy. It only takes 4-5 creep tumors to make a path from nat-to-nat on cross map shattered, for example, as long as you maximally space out your tumors.

I think someone mentioned in a previous thread that vZ just requires a vastly different mindset to either vT or vP, which is generally why people good at one tend to suck at the other.
Bet it is probably more enjoyable than playing an actual ZvZ game. A free win I mean and not cleaning up the poop, but that is still closer in enjoyment level than I would have liked.

At the moment, the SC2 money is coming from sponsors who are testing the water, I think.
Eventually, though, the scene is probably going to develop into a situation where the money has to come from the viewers - MLG is already taking steps in that direction, GSL likewise.
Yeah, I think Stephano has made just under $100,000 from tournament winnings alone. He probably also gets a pretty decent salary from Millenium on top of that. Not bad for playing a videogame for four hours a day.
SC2 isn't a case of this, but back in the day Fatal1ty (I think) would just win the first event of a major new game (where they gave out a ton of prize money to try to generate interest), then never play again. Good way to make some money.

Like aggressively drops several on the edges of terran bases to really put the fear of creep-god in them.
