Yes, yes! Yes! This is what I want.

Ahem. Pretty good stuff. Sketchy but good.

I love the expression on the barbarian lady and with just that much more work on the first (mainly the fire at her feet), it could be a real piece of art.

to keep getting better really. I've just started actually getting work through my artwork, which is great. I'm also working on a webcomic http://www.experiment073.com/

That first one is rad sauce.

As a suggestion, try using larger brushes. Like on the fire and the rocks on the second picture.

Try beefing up those lighting effects! Some of them are kinda kooky and don't match the type of luminescence you should be trying to show!

You can really make that fire scorching by conveying a bit better contrast :)

Thanks for the pointers guys. I really don't know quite how to do those with the program I'm using now. I switched to sai because lines come out cleaner and it's easier to use than photoshop.

To just echo Godfather here, I tossed fire girl in photoshop and threw an orange-to-black radial gradient over top set to Overlay. The contrast really plays up the drama, and having the firelight color reflected in the character's highlights is much more appropriate than white ambient light. Really you've done an incredible job so far, and with a few small tweaks these images can be powerful stuff.

That profiles collection is a huge improvement from your earlier stuff on here. Particularly the redhead farm girl in the bottom row.

Those are adorable. I think the posing on the guy could be a bit better, it looks a little rigid.

I agree, but I was done messing with it after my power surged in the middle of the picture and then my computer freezing in the middle of the picture making me have to start over completely twice.

I'm sorry, but these are just too charming for me to handle them.
I have no idea what to do with all this charm you just dropped on me. <3

Ha! I'm glad you like them. 'Charming' is certainly not something I've heard to describe my artwork. ^_^

You have the tool. You can draw (period). How complex and perfection of any image is just how large you paint it and how much time you invest on it. Its unlimited. Congrats. Now, will you use it on a comic? a book ilustration? Bumper stickers? I am saying about commercial use or intention...

Well I've always wanted to work on things like character design and development, but that job market is kinda nonexistent for the area I live and moving isn't an option right now. Currently, I'm doing a webcomic that updates twice a week. I plan on going back and redoing the first two chapters of it now that I've got a style down for it.

Gosh, I love your character designs, especially your fire dragon weilding lady, she oozes awesome.

One thing I would say is that in three of your drawings you gave your characters a very high left knee. Your stroppy chick with pointy ears (if I ever get sucked into a cartoon world, I wanna look like her, including the annoyedness) has a left leg that bends like rubber which makes her look like she's got a high knee. Your strutting girl in the purple boots and your pirate fella both have very high left knees. Maybe a wandering joint issue?

I'm going to go try and summon a fire dragon now.

Yeah. It's something that I need to work on. I've been noticing that too and I need to work on get out of doing that.

Also, have some primal mutated deer.

I really like your style. There's something so endearing about them, particularly their faces.

My only thing (which sounds odd) is I wonder if your characters could just do with a bit more knees. None of them have them!

    Draw an egg.

I always wonder how threads like this slip under most people's radar. No comments isn't always a bad thing since there aren't any huge glaring issues. Everything is really good! The t-shirt designs stand out more, but that's probably because more time was spent with them, I'm guessing. Even the quicker stuff shows solid skills.
