BBcode "work mode"

Just wondering how hard it would be to put in a "work" mode that ignores BB tags in respect to images. Like it'll just put the URL there instead.

This has probably been brought up before.

I tried using the "Allways allow BB code" option, set it to "no", but that didn't seem to help much.

    Do you have to have pictures for other things?

    If not, Internet Options->Advanced->Multimedia->uncheck "Show Images"
    That's assuming IE. It's even easier in other browsers.

    I guess what it'd do is instead of replacing with <img> it'd just replace it with <a href="">. It doesn't sound like it'd be an overly difficult thing to implement, but with all the wacky customizations Ramius (and now Alpha) have done, it could be a bear.
