There should be a thing like hookers except they deal with positive reinforcement instead of sex.

I'm pretty sure you can hire a hooker to pretend to love you for an evening. It'll be expensive, but you might be able to negotiate a nightly rate or something.

Isn't that called "The Girlfriend Experience," as mentioned in the title of that Soderbergh film

I think I fell asleep just thinking about watching that movie

    Hooters?

Positive reinforcement, beer and wings. Win-win-win.

I don't like girls enough for this to work.

    Chippendales?

Pop-cultural osmosis allows me to know what Hooters is, but this, I'm drawing a blank.

HOLY SHIT ORIGIN IS SELLING THE SIMS 3 FOR FIFTY BUCKS STILL???

not too long ago, it was 55% off on Steam. with all the DLC 66% off, too.

    Origin is crap.

every time I imagine one middle manager tentatively suggesting doing a mass Origin sale that isn't during a Steam sale

I see all the other managers in the room start frothing at the mouth at all that lost money

In assessing this option, it’s worth bearing in mind that the dead Obi-Wan did not, in fact, become more powerful than Darth Vader could possibly imagine. His new powers seemed limited to appearing as an apparition offering inscrutable advice to Luke Skywalker, whereas the previous, alive version featured the power to slice people’s arms off with a light saber.

It wasn't that jingoistic, and it even acknowledged Cap's status as a propaganda tool.

The only thing that annoyed me on that front was how the recruitment video had Cap marching alongside a black soldier even though the army was still segregated at that time.

Before the film came out, I was actually hoping that they'd shock people and go with the Isaiah Bradley version of Captain America.

It'd have been controversial, but it would've added a bit more depth to the character and allowed the film to tackle some of the more complicated issues surrounding the country during that time period.

But we are talking about an action film franchise, not a lecture on civil rights, so I didn't hold my breath.

So, what is it that gives movies from the 80's that particular look? Is it the filmstock, lighting techniques, the cameras, or some combination of the 3? Watching Crocodile Dundee on cable and it reminded me that I've always wondered.

The silliest part about the large jackpot hype, beyond the normal silliness of it, the likelihood that you'll end up splitting the jackpot becomes all but guaranteed.

Granted, splitting ~462 million (cash value), is still p. awesome.

    That's pre-tax, cash-option disbursement.

Edit: and yes, current jackpot value.
