It also staggers all the unlocks so that you get more and more fun toys to spawn in the further you progress in the game. It's this version of the mod that I personally use when I play.

The original has everything free and unlocked from the start. v1.1 was a request by Stormwatcher for setting all prices at 10% and also unlocks the extra black market stuff with chaos (game progression) instead of being all available right at the start like the original.

NOTE: You can probably just grab blackmarket.bin from either mod if you don't want the rest of the stuff.

Adds all dlc and other vehicles to world spawns
Increases all spawn density including peds
    Increases draw distance

    v1.1 Changelog

Pricing adjusted for all agency vehicles and weapons at 10% of original vanilla cost

Pricing adjusted for all other vehicles. Most of them are now $1000 except some of the sports cars and military vehicles which are in the $2000-$4000 range)

Fixed chaos requirements so black market guns and vehicles now unlock correctly with game progression

changed chaos requirements for unlocking new sections of spawnable objects:

    450,000 Chaos - Crates
    500,000 Chaos - Rocks
    550,000 Chaos - Blockades
    600,000 Chaos - Other Objects
    700,000 Chaos - Rockets
    800,000 Chaos - Soldiers
    900,000 Chaos - Explosives
    1,000,000 Chaos - Turrets
    1,100,000 Chaos - Faction Objects
    1,200,000 Chaos - Panay Objects

Spawnable Section unlocks were staggered for two reasons:
    1. So the player didn't have 100 unlocks happen at once and have to trudge through all of them on the PDA
    2. The Black Market menu sorts first by chaos requirements and this was the easiest way to get all the misc stuff sorted at the bottom of the menu

    NOTES:

The last spawnable section unlocks at 1,200,000 chaos which should happen right around 50% completion

Any DLC you do not own will show up in the black market as something like: "dlc text 14." Nothing will spawn if you try to purchase it (and don't own it.)

DLC Weapons and Vehicles show up twice in the menus. Once with the new lower price, and a second time with the expensive original pricing.

While the new cheap DLC menu items show as Level 1, you can see that they have exactly the same stats/parameters as Level 6. Don't waste any upgrade parts on them.

Cool. I was just about to ask for this. The agency should pay for all Rico's toys anyway. I just got the game as well as the DLC on gamersgate, so it'll be nice to have an unlimited supply of monster trucks. :D

Also, I had a question. Does anyone ever get random chaos when they play? For example I was base jumping off a tower and a random message said gas pump chaos and I had heat all of a sudden. It's not a big issue. I'm just wondering what could have caused it? I wasn't using any guns or grenades and I didn't ditch any rides. Another time I was flying for awhile and got a message about kills, but this could have been one of those messages just telling you of different achievements or stats throughout the game. I'm not sure.

I came across this glitch over the weekend. Why haven't more console games been released with a "capture video/upload to YouTube" feature? Did YouTube complain about all the incredible videos this game generated?

There was a coop mode mod that was last seen in alpha, and they had managed to get two players into the same world. Although the only footage was of them just driving around without any ai anywhere, which is fair enough because having to change the ai to be able to react to two players sounds pretty difficult and is something to be done a bit later. Not sure what happened to it.

edit: definately seems to have just dissapeared off the face of the earth. Which is a pity.

After all the fun I had with this one, the only thing I think I would ask for from JC3 would be multiplayer. I bought mercenaries 2 on 360 back in the day, and that was pretty fun with a buddy. I can't even imagine how ridiculous this would be. Think two grapples would be enough to attach a monster truck to a helicopter? Because that would be super sweet to drop into an enemy base.

Avalanche Studios are the guys behind this game and they do own the property. That said, they have stated they intend to make another game in this series but their last known project was Mad Max, to coincide with the movie remake. If anyone can do a Mad Max, its these guys.

Saints Row 2 had multiplayer coop. I don't know if Saints Row did or not.

SR3, from what I could see, is basically the SR2 engine ported non-shittilly and gussied up a bit with higher res textures, new animations, and a less wonky random car/person generation system.

Given that JC2 wasn't designed for multiplayer, they'd either have to do some significant work to bring it in, or scrap most/all of it and rewrite it...

Basically, I'd love to see it happen, but until I see an announcement I wouldn't expect it to happen.

Or unless the announcement is far enough out that they're throwing out the JC2 engine entirely anyway because it's outdated tech.

    Oh, Mercs 2
Such a fucking pile of shit. Just Cause 2 does everything M2 tries to do, a does it a billion times better.

Mercs2 had coop, and coop is fun on almost any game, no matter how shitty, but other than that, it was crap, crap, crap, crap... And really fucking similar to JC2, now that I think of it. Exotic location, rebels and soldiers, two guns at a time, steal any and all vehicles, kill VIPs, find collectables.... They're almost the exact same laundry list of features and gameplay activities, only one was 100% shit, and the other was 100% awesome.

Avalanche Studios are the guys behind this game and they do own the property. That said, they have stated they intend to make another game in this series but their last known project was Mad Max, to coincide with the movie remake. If anyone can do a Mad Max, its these guys.

According to this they don't own the IP.

Avalanche founder and original concept creator of Just Cause Christofer Sundberg explained to Eurogamer that while the Stockholm-based studio does not own the Just Cause intellectual property, it remains intrinsically linked to it.

"I can't really comment on the future of Just Cause," he said, "but as we created the IP there is an attachment to the studio even though we don't own the IP."

I thought they were bought out by Eidos who owned the IP?

Well Sega published Renegade Ops, so I'm guessing Eidos/Square Enix just own the IP and Avalanche are relatively independent.

Let's just say there better be a Just Cause 3, or I'm going to go all Rico Rodriguez on their asses.

I'm having so much fun with JC2. I've done nothing productive today. Oh well.

Here's a screen I just took. I call it, "My wife gets home and realized I haven't done any laundry and instead played JC2 all day."

That exact thing happened to me back when the game came out, I was working freelance at home.
Plus, I also didn't do any work for pay.
    It was complicated :P

So I downloaded the version of that mod that storm requested where the items didn't all unlock at once and they were 10% of the regular price instead of free and I noticed that the DLC I bought is still the normal price in the black market. Is the DLC also free like the other stuff in the black market in the other mod? If so what file do I need to transfer over so I don't overwrite or replace anything else?
