As in past Phallakinetics, actions happen instantaneously, with the exception of the Aid power which kicks in after everything else. So if a guard uses their ability on a player, that player will be guarded even if their guardian turns up dead. Likewise, dying doesn't prevent you from killing.

Well, the 2nd game he had the Renegade as someone other than Rend (who was a vengeful murderbot?). I believe these roles are here just not the same players as they are normally linked to.
The non-mafia murder machine is still more likely to kill villagers at least early on, I think the worry is how quickly. More haphazard kills early on make it harder for people to network. Networking is good. Sticking with the plan of keeping him around for at least a day. Wiet is as good as any day 1 is going to be, but wouldn't jump all over someone for not thinking that the giant murder bot might not be the best thing to have around.

Quasi. If I recall correctly if you got rng'd into a group with a character that had a role similar to one you had in the past game, he would give you that one. But aside from that - I don't think so much?
Like Winky was set to be a really powerful empath in one game apparently but when he got the role ed changed it t being a super-doctor.. same power, different flavor

Based on the abilities stated in the OP, I am going to guess there are no busdrivers in this game.
Which is a shame, because busdriving between Rend and Munkus tonight would be amazing.
Those are just samples of abilities. It was almost the same list last time, and we still had a busdriver (well, we could force someone to obstruct for us. And Obstruct is on the list).

It is always in the villages best interest to limit kills in the beginning of a game in order to maximize the time it takes the mafia to win. it also makes it less likely that a seer or other special will get friendly fired early on. a vig is great later in the game as the ratio of villagers to mafia decreases and information (posts) increase making it more likely that a mafia member is hit. flailing around at the start of the game is rarely to the villages benefit (though it is alot of fun).
Having a public vig is sometimes useful but I don't think this is one of those times.
I think there's a general consensus that increasing the length of the game benefits the village. Is there anyone that doubts that having a murderbot in play makes the game end more quickly?

We learn many things tonight.
If Rend ends up dead tonight via Murderbot, we know Munkus is not lying or, at the very least, knows who Murderbot is.
If Rend ends up dead and is not the Renegade, then we know that not all, or even any, roles are inherited from past phallas.
If Rend is the Renegade, I would expect him to put his power to bear on Munkus as a final "fuck you", who may or may not die.
