No competitive games

I like competitive games, where you fight against others, or against the machine. Ok. Is fun.

But there are only competitive games. Even sandbox games like Morrowind are like competitive.

I know War will exist forever, because War is inside the human. But we are getting only a 2% of what is humanity on videogames. I want the other 98%.

Is life itself a streamill? a grinding to become rich, powerfull, have a hot babe as a wife and the faster car?

Even If living on games is grinding. Why always war?, I like war, war is fun. I love explosions and people dying. But I also like rivers, the sun, the sky.. mountains and beyond.

The only source for videogames is conflict? What about other types of conflict. I would love to see a videogame about _LOVE_. One withouth pink hearth and lame clouds. But where love has something dark, and something about light.
Yet another interesting game to be made, is a game about the nirvana, the spiritual peace. I see unbalance on most games. I watch the poor souls on WoW, in a infinite streammill of unbalance. It would be cool to create a game, that you will be able to show to your childrens, and to womens. And make your proud of your creation. A videogame as a machine to make people better.

I am ready to make such a game. But I lack the initial spark of genius. As I am a normal guy, with normal life, and normal intelect. I can't do the munchausen trick to move myself out of this jail of conflict games, where grinding is the only way to be human.

So maybe anyone here can give a advice, so the first spark is started...

    ...what?

Seriously, look around you. There're tons of... uh, non-competitive games around. Unless you actually meant non-combative.

I'm still puzzled by what you're actually trying to say.

Sure, an entire franchise built around the concept of enslaving and training poor little creatures to fight against each other for prize money. It's a cockfighting league with a cutesy Nintendo twist. Not combative or competitive at all, no sir.

Just a tad, although my guess is English is not the first language.

However, I think I have the perfect game

    http://www.tale-of-tales.com/TheEndlessForest/
The Endless Forest is a multiplayer online game and social screensaver, a virtual place where you can play with your friends. When your computer goes to sleep you appear as a deer in this magical place. There are no goals to achieve or rules to follow. Just run through the forest and see what happens.

Currently The Endless Forest consists of a forest, a mysterious ruin, a lovely pond and as many deer as there are players at any given time. You can play the game anonymously but we encourage you to name your deer so other players can recognize you.

Although not goal-oriented, there are several activities that you can engage in. Nothing very demanding or violent. Just fun things to do in a nice environment.
Once every so often, the forest deities will appear, either in person or through their divine powers. Beware of falling rocks and sudden showers!

Over the course of the following years, we will add many things to The Endless Forest. Some may indeed be slightly game-like while others simply pretty or poetic. For an idea of our general plans, look here. But we invite you to play the game and make suggestions of your own in our forum.

The Endless Forest client as well as the multiplayer service are available free of charge thanks to the support of several cultural institutions (see Credits for details). If you would also like to help support this unique game project please feel free to donate.

I find this to be an incredibly funny objection on a forum that perpetually cycles around oh noes sony, oh noes xbox, yay nintendo and late to the party. The whole forum is a giant merry go round, we just use different words.

I understand what he is getting at. It's no surprise that you don't. Your response to someone asking a question only 3 times on your precious forum is anger. :/
