Wait, what is Jean Grey doing being on the cover and not dead?
There are alot of dead X-Men on that cover, it's the the 200th issue. And it's a 4-page gatefold that features every X-Men to ever appear in Adjectiveless X-Men.
Did they KILL Richard? I mean his impetuousness is annoying, but to die because of a travel mishap? That's like a war hero dying in a car crash. If they really just killed him as I was starting to like him.. ughhh... on the other hand I do like the new female Kree Nova, so hopefully they can coexist. If Richard survives he may end up starting a new Nova Corps in similar fashion.
Wraith is also pretty cool.
I was shocked at the Ronan reveal at the end. The Phalanx are some scary ass Borg rip offs. Derivative, but badass. They don't really look all that cool though, but good stuff nonetheless. Annihilation and Annihilation Conquest > WWH > Civil War, Infinite Crisis or ANY other big Marvel or DC event recently.

Phalanx predate the Borg. Borg are the derivative ones. The Technarhy and all foundations of the Phalanx go back as far as 1984 while the Borg's first iteration is 1989. Phalanx Covenant was around 1994 though. Regardless of who came first though, both are probably ripped off from Dr Who's Cybermen. Resistance is futile is a direct rip from Dr Who's bad guy's phrase resistance is useless.
As for Nova
She doesnt have the uber world mind version of the nova armour. She looks like a generic Centurion from old nova corps days. Her world mind text was blue as oppsed to the yellow boxes Nova has as well. To me, Im just going to guess she was given a part of the force to help protect / help Nova and the World Mind out.

Thanks. Good stuff to know.
Servo, Geebs, Bale... that was beautiful.
Also, Hawkman in a weilding outfit just plain makes me giggle.
