I did see someone go into the game of thrones thread to hate on game of thrones.

edit: oh I think I see what you are talking about, but I just kinda glazed over it to the posts after it

    Eh...

I think she might be a little better looking in The Girl Next Door.

But she certainly has a better fashion sense/wardrobe in Happy Endings.

the thing about those reports is that they really...I mean, that doesn't make that much sense to bring parks and community back for short runs

30 Rock, I get, it's been around for a while, and it's dropping in the ratings, and it's not even bringing home the awards it used to bring home

but parks is getting near syndication numbers and I'm pretty sure nbc actually would stand to make money off of syndication rights to it, so I dunno, a 13 episode final season doesn't make a whole lotta sense? and with community, I'm sure the people in charge would be willing to sell it for a little cheaper, especially with that sweet comedy central deal they just got, to get as many episodes as they can out of it

and also! NBC did order a buncha comedies, but you can't assume they'll all succeed, and it seems counterproductive to dump all of your sitcoms and then try to bleed the corpse of the office dry and get a spin off out of it, especially given that the ratings for the office have plummeted this season (because this season has pretty well sucked)

but, I guess it is NBC, so who knows

Community needs what, 16 episodes for the magic syndication numbers?
I can see that happening. But it'd be stupid.

My Name Is Earl made it to syndication.

99% of the syndicated dreck that I skim past at this hour is unholy and wrong. NBC is run by brain-damaged monkeys, but even they know more money is Good.

i kinda wondered how good the office was doing. it's always one of the most popular on hulu, but i guess that doesn't mean much for ratings?

I don't understand why you would have a shortened season if you weren't going to make it to syndication. In that case why not just cancel it? Unless you were just trying to be nice.
