Lincoln Square (really close) has a good movie theater from what I've heard, but it's hella expensive. The other option in Bellevue would be the Galleria, which has good screens and seats.
It's just under $10 a show no matter where you go.
So I'm assuming it's gonna be at Lincoln Square then, since it's walkable from PAX. Galleria is really close too, but not as nice supposedly. I think the real question is capacity. If there's enough people, we might wanna use both theaters.

Any idea what night we want to do this? Friday or Saturday? Sunday morning?
As far as I know, it's planned for right after the PAX dinner.
Edit: Which wouldn't work, due to the new 7:00 start time. Fuck.

and because a bunch of us won't be down there on Thursday.
Although if you guys do end up doing this Thursday evening, I will have to find a way to stay down there Thursday night, since my hotel reservation is only for Friday and Saturday.
Yoshamano (who posted on the other thread for the Pre-PAX dinner) and I will also be attending Snakes on a Plane. Can't wait to see how the movie turns out.

So what time has been decided on? It looks like Lincoln Square tends to do 9:30-ish shows to follow up the 7:00 showings, so we could probably make that pretty easily.

well since this is the newest one I suppose I'll post here. I'm pretty sure heckling such a large possible steam pile of a movie would be as they say in kiddee land, "fun". I shall attend and add my likness to your own.

I don't know if anything has been decided yet, but the Bellevue Galleria is like 2 buildings away from Las Margaritas. So, if people are worried about walking distance it would definitely be the best choice.
Lincoln Square is a pretty nice theater with Leather Seats, etc... Realistically it isn't that much further away than the Galleria. Downtown Bellevue isn't exactly huge, so pretty much everything is within walking distance.
For the record, Clerks 2 was absolutely Hillarious! I'd totally be up for seeing Snakes on a plane though. Any time hundreds of geeks seige a movie theater = loads of fun
Ooh, Talladega Nights would be a good one too though. That move was outrageously hillarious! I couldn't even imagine seeing it with a group of PA fans! *disaster*

The reason Snakes on a Plane was chosen is because it is a terrible movie that can only be redeemed by attending it with friends to mock it together. It is an internet meme, a phenomenon, and so this is the only way to truly enjoy such a terrible movie.
A better movie, such as Clerks 2, would be fun, but it wouldn't be the same.
I just got home from seeing the movie. It was surprisingly good, very gory, very funny.
It wouldn't have been the same without the packed theater full of people cheering and screaming, so I can't even imagine what it'll be like with a theater full of PAX nerds.
My crew is going to be arriving too late on Thrusday to participate in the dinner, but we'd be able to make it to the movie, after. Any idea on which showing people are seeing? (If this has already been covered, my apologies, but I was unable to find the information on this.)

what are the latest showings of the movie on Thursday?
edit: it looks like they frequently have movies starting as late as 10:30 pm, so I don't see why we couldn't do this right after the dinner.

Snakes on a Plane will be playing at 9:55 or 10:35 PM, depending on when we get out of the PAX dinner.

So are we all just planning to show up and buy our tickets there and whoever gets left out will go to another theater or another movie?
It wouldn't have been the same without the packed theater full of people cheering and screaming, so I can't even imagine what it'll be like with a theater full of PAX nerds.
I can't wait.
