    According to this HBO interview with Joseph Staten, Cinematic Director at Bungie Studios from October 2004, ILB wasn't considered canon at that time. I guess that means Bungie reserves the right to change its mind about what is and isn't canon at their will.

    It was just too well done to not consider canon. I wonder if this means there's going to be direct references to it in Halo 3.

    I never got to participate in ILB (got into Halo2 late) but I read the wiki and various other websites and Holy shit it sounded amazing.

    Yeah, the biggest thing that pisses me off is that for some reason my mic REFUSES to give me sound through my ear piece, but all you fuckers can hear me which is bizarro. I usually just route sound through my speakers, but some of you bastards mumble like nothing I've ever heard of. Also, my parents do not approve of small children screaming "YOU JUST GOT FUCKING OWNED NOOB! OH TEABAG! TEABAGGIN' YO HEAD BITCH" through surround sound.

    ~Chromehounds: Baby, I love you but you need to get your shots before I come near you again. I don't like running an olympic marathon (obstacles obstacles lol) to play against some guy only to end up getting raped through my pants (through the internet I might add) who's using 3 sets of heatseekers. Yes I am aware I am a sniper mech and should drop them at 20 paces with their puny cockpits and all but DAMN them (and fuck pile drivers).

    I doubt it will become a critical part of the main story, but I'm sure they'll throw in some references or side story elements.

    I'd like to join up if you're taking new recruits still. Been playing the game since launch but took a break for about 6 months and just got back into the game with my friend. My friend would probably join too, but he’s not really associated with PA. We’re pretty good though and not an asshats.

    Alright, I'm heading on now. I would have been on earlier but I was treated to the power going in and out in my apartment for a few minutes because the landlord decided to switch out everyone's fuses at one time.
