Alienware M18X Specs???Any advice...?
Here are the specs, I will probably only be playing games developed by EA, with nothing else open at the same time.

Processor:Intel Core i7 2860QM 2.5GH(3.6GHz with turbo boost, 8MB cache)

Video Card: Dual 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA Geforce GTX 580M SLI enabled

Memory: 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1866MHz (4DIMMS)

Hard Drive: 1.5TB Raid 0 (2 x Seagate Momenuts XT 750GB Hyrbid SSHD)

Is it powerful enough to run all EA games on full resolution without lag?

    a) you probably want the help/advice forum

    b) if you don't, there's a tech thread a little further down, the "My phone is smarter than I am" one

    Hi.

Your best bet will very likely either be the thread in this forum with the title something like "My phone is smarter than I am and i'm ok with it" there is some computer talk going on there.

Or...taking this to Moe's Technology Tavern which is another sub-forum 'round here.

    Good luck!

I'm sorry. Kind of new here. Will post in the help/advice forum. Thanks.
@Skull Man. I don't own the laptop yet so "Can you run it?" doesn't help me here.

@Kyuske on your original question, the specs you cited alone make the machine sound fairly beefy. considering most, if not all, of EA's games are generally geared towards running on consoles, you should be fine. the original Crysis might be a problem, but that game is simply a resource hog.
