Avraham, love the cat, I think thats the right direction to go
Yes, with a quick verbal "boom." You take a man's peko, you deny him his dab, all that is left is to rise up and tear down the walls of Jericho with a ".....not!" -TexiKen
I am so in. This could help out alot since I can easily draw the female figure, but not so much for men! I hope pictures taken by camera are ok. I do not have a scanner at the moment. Time to begin!
go Avraham! Im rooting for you, planning on making more cats or animals any time in the near future ?

Ok. I guess my goal is just to learn to draw. Used to do it loads but gave up 5 years ago and now want to get back into it in a serious way.
I feel like a lot of what I draw is flat and stiff so I primarily want to work on making solid looking forms with movement. Also better line work, learning to shade and learning anatomy. I think that'll do to start.
Goals:
-Actually fill all the pages of my sketchbook (a feat I have not yet accomplished despite having owned dozens of sketchbooks)
-Develop a better working habit and draw every day
-Complete 15-20 full-color digital illustrations for my portfolio
-Get enough practice in before I begin work on my comic book
You're in Deko. Make me proud. We need someone to start next year's thread.

@Roman: Nice work so far! however everything looks super soft. Work some harder edged brushes into the pictures to make certain aspects of it crisp and vibrant.
@Roman I love all the portraiture and work you're doing, but you have got to stop using a soft brush. Try building up your soft edges using a hard brush with pressure opacity on. That way you can earn variety in your edge-sharpness. All the awesome stuff you have going on is getting choked out by blurriness!
