Okay, so here's the basic idea: You will fight each person in your division once. The first matches will take place on Friday, July 27th, and continue on every other day until each team has faced every team in their division. Once that occurs, I will open up a thread to decide on "Interleague" matches and challenges. Each team will play one more game.

Division winners will then be decided. The top team in each division will advance to the playoffs, along with the top four second place finishers, and one more team to be decided by popular vote.

Matches will be decided by a poll to be open for twenty-four hours. Each team will have at least six days in between matches. I will announce the schedule this Wednesday at the earliest, and Friday at the absolute latest. You will find out your first three matches, as well as your challenge for each, at the same time, giving you a chance to plan in advance in case of other commitments.

YOUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT FOLLOWS

Create a biography, including powers, ability and personality for your character, including your own art for the character in their costume for the tournament.

You may create a comic showing your character preparing for the tournament, although this is by no means necessary.

PM your entries to Son of Beyonder by Friday, July 20th..

So, I have another question. What's expected out of the assignment? Should it be more like the hidden origins bits in 52, where we go into their history and that's that, or should we do our own thing and just make sure to cover the important stuff- biography, powers, etc.?

no, the divisions rotate through the days

you will have at least six days between your matches

like, divisions a and d will have a match each the first day

then two days later the other matches from those divisions will start along with a match each from b and e and so on

it'll make more sense when you see the schedule, I promise
