    wait wait is it actually an FFTA style game using pokemon

    I just thought the premise looked dumb and paid no attention to the format of the game

    I love FFTA and pokemon

    it is an strategy RPG that is a crossover of Pokemon and Nobunaga's Ambition

    so, it isn't an exact lift of FFTA's mechanics, but it's in the same general style

    I think game freak is learning

    they've got this new feature where you can visit an expanding area full of shops that sell rare items

    the area expands as you connect with other players

    but instead of making you connect with people in person it just automatically adds anyone you interact with over wifi

    this is a very good thing

    So far Pokemon Conquest is getting positive reviews, I never thought I would have anything but apathy for a game Koei was involved with.

    Ludicolo is too good for this world.

    It was the best combination of douchebaggery possible in a pokemon.

    Leech Seed, Rain Dance, Toxic, and Substitute.

    but yeah the one thing you guys care about, multiplayer, i've never really had access to

    no one ever battled with me when i was a kid and i only traded once with silver and things went horribly wrong

    i had wi-fi for a bit during my days with Diamond but then our router, which we had bought for nintendo DS wi-fi, had to change its type to WPA for a laptop

    I think they realized that except for Japan the meet people with a pokemon game in person mechanic is flawed.
