I've never heard that before. Batman brought Plastic Man into the JLA because he's immune to psychic attacks (therefore a countermeasure to J'onn). If Diana was already resistant, then why would he bring in Plas?

Because they needed a stretchy guy.

Well, I don't no much about the Marvel side of things, but the Wiki says

"Gladiator (Melvin Potter) is a reformed supervillain"

So I assumed he was now a hero.

Plus I figured since we had one Superman, why have two? But I digress.

Take match E. Martian Manhunter's weakness to fire might not even come into play if Liz or Chamber get taken out by Moon Knight or Wolverine.

Chamber shoots psionic energy, though, not fire.
It can set stuff on fire, though. In Weapon X [spoiler:a637e35fbf]when he was pretending to fight Angel (Or maybe Wolverine, I can't remember) he set the bar on fire with his mouth, and later when he was working for them the senator dude he assasinated was burnt.[/spoiler:a637e35fbf]
So the psionic energy can ignite things if he wants it to, I guess.

Voting should have been done by post with an explanation so we could have avoided people voting for deadpool or batman because they're popular.

Yeah. But that would be the uber chic anti-Wolverine attitude instead of OMG WOLVERINE IS AWESOME!!!1 that'll run rampant in his battle.

I voted for both Fable characters (Bigby and Blue), because I thought of them as more then capable to wiggle through the first round of tournament.

I don't think Batman makes it out of the next round unless he and Superman team up. Because I don't think he can manipulate anyone but Supes, and I think by this point, Superman knows what Batman is capable of.

But that's a discussion for another day.

Okay, there's definitely something screwy with the voting.

I don't mean in an abstract sense. I know. I just cast a vote, it has been recorded, yet the board still has the "Choose" thing going. I could cast multiple votes here.

I'm betting other people are having this happen, and one of them spammed Batgirl.

So it seems that there is a technical flaw regarding voting in polls that was overlooked (reading Charmy's post reminded me of the couple of times it occurred in G&T's chat thread), and it may be skewing the votes. It has been suggested that we switch to voting via posts, but some believe that could lead to lessened participation.

So what do you guys think?

I'll admit I spammed Captain Canuck just because it was obvious he wouldn't win.

Yeah, the system is being abused. We better switch.

I'm not the only one doing it. And most of the people who are doing it are actually doing it to affect the tournament. I figured as long as the voting was broken anyway, I might as well give a character with no hope a boost. I'm not putting him into range where he'll win or anything.

In short, I'm not trying to wreck the tournament or anything. But if I'm able to do this with (apparently) no reprocussions, lot's of other people are probably able to do it too. And they aren't admitting to it, so there's a problem.
