Here we brag or nag about the places we live.

I just put a deposit down on a 750 sq foot one bedroom fifteen floors up.

$649 a month gets me Heat, Water, precious precious electricity, pool, and a spectacular view that would cause panties to spontaneously combust, if I could ever somehow trick a woman into coming home with me.

Just yesterday my husband and I closed on a 1350 sq. foot house only 8 miles away from where he works, and where we plan to go to college.

    I can't wait to mooove.

Dudes, is it possible to live on your own or with roommates on $8 an hour if you're working at least 25 hours a week in Phoenix, Arizona?

Living at home is depressing the shit out of me.

I live with my fiancée in Atlanta when I'm not co-oping. Around $900/mo for 800 sq. ft. and utilities. Not bad.

When I am co-oping, I'm provided housing and furnishing. So, basically I'm sharing a two bedroom house with another guy for around $100/mo for utilities.

I live with my parents in a relatively large house that I love

It has a billion windows (maybe a slight exaggeration) and a view of the mountains

Starting in September I will be living in Spain in a homestay for study abroad

Living at home is depressing the shit out of me.

It really depends on where in Phoenix you'll be going.

Glendale? I had a one bedroom apartment for 500 bucks a month. The only thing that sucked about that one was the Glendale Community College right across the street.

Avondale? I had a two bedroom apartment for 800 bucks a month. Not shabby, about 1100 sq feet.

Chandler? I'm in a one bedroom apartment, around 900 sq feet or so, 860 a month. And this was one of the CHEAPER ones.

I can't wait for my house! Screw apartments! Never again!

I live in a 4 bedroom apartment with 3 roommates on the Mission Bay UCSF campus in San Francisco.

It's a decent place, and probably the best deal in the city. Also, only grad students live here, so it's clean and quiet.

I live in a really nice apt now with en suite laundry, cool private balcony, and a giant hot tub out back that 20-25 people can get into. :winky:

Too bad I'm moving in Nov into a likely crappy place since I'll be poor for school.

The Fiance and I just moved into a newish (2 yr old) apartment in a sleazy area.

    750/month with en-suite laundry, dishwasher, hot tub+steam room+decent gym downstairs. About 700 sq feet (1bedroom + den)

    I'm pretty happy.

Sexy studio apartment in downtown Shanghai.

    RMB3000 a month (US$400) including utilities.

Literally walking distance to the subway and 10-20 minute cab rides to all the hot spots.

NW burbs, but ~45 minutes from downtown.

I would have loved to live in the city, but seeing as my job is also in the 'burbs, it just kind of makes sense to live 15 minutes away from work rather than an hour and a half in rush hour traffic. Even the metra is an hour commute.

I live in a small studio. It's old, but in ok condition. I like to call it quirky. I have a latch eye hole and a fold down ironing board that comes down across the entrance to my kitchen so I can be a good little wife.

    I pay 415 + utilities...

It's not the most amazing place but it's in a great spot....few blocks from down town, one from the library, the municipal park is RIGHT across the street and I can walk to the OSU campus really easy should there be something going on there.
