I would love a Star Trek reboot skinned Mass Effect, so hopefully that IS what they made. Sounds awesome.

Did they do significant re-shoots on Looper or something? I remember in the first trailer that Bruce Willis stopped JGL from shooting him by turning his back to him so the gold bars would stop the bullet.

    Or is it just editing?

I think editing - my guess is he initially blocks the shot with his back, maybe before they even see each other, and then reaches through the big hole in the goldsack for a bar to chuck at him.

Ah, guess they renamed 'The Surrogate' to 'The Sessions'. Reaction at Sundance was huge for that one. Like "the nominees for the 2012 Oscars should be thanking their goddamn stars this wasn't out yet" kind of reaction. I enjoy the hell out of Hawkes, so this is definitely on my list.

Haha Iron Fists looks pretty fun. Kiiinda looks like he saw the Immortal Iron Fist comics and just did that.

That does look awesome, nice to see Russel Crowe playing another cowboy.

Iron First movie looks like something I could enjoy, but that's really kind of an annoying trailer. Way too many fast cuts.

I thought the opening was an affectionate nod to Mass Effect 2. Then the trailer continued to play, and I began to think it was just a reskinned version of Mass Effect 2.

    My thoughts as well.

To be fair, you could make a far worse game.

    I mean, I'd play it.

I know everyone has been saying that this should be different but apart from the setting it looks like a shot for shot remake. Looks alright though but we'll see.

I was under the impression that in this new one, they do not
    get their ass to mars.

It's meant to be a faithful adaption from the novel Total Recall was based on.

Not a novel, short story. 20-30 pages in my Phillip K. Dick movie guide reader. No mars and I don't recall any ladies of the evening with an unusual number of breasts, but it's been a while since I read it.

Mars is in the original story, but not directly, as in the character himself had saved the world there or something. Its a weird story.

She looks way hotter then usual in Silver Linings Playbook.

    Maybe it's the hair colour.

I'll never understand why anyone liked that movie. Yes, her performance was good, and I don't doubt that it was an accurate portrayal of life in that area, but the film itself was terrible.
