Find the assassins in the HRE's court? Sub-goal for the villagers of being elected Emperor?
Did he kill him because he was mafia, or because he wanted the sucession?

See! This would clearly be awesome. Also, you could throw in all kinds of needless complexity by having bishops and what not.

    Two factions: Christians and Musilms.

Everyone starts out as a Count, Duke, or King (or their Muslim counterparts). Daily actions are: Rebel (raises levies), Manufacture Claim, Start Plot.

    The mafia are heretics.

    Theocracies / republics!

But half the beauty is rebellious vassals!

Man, fuck rebellious vassals. You know how much of a pain in the ass it is to run Spain, Scandinavia, and Jerusalem from Wales?

I considered making an EU3 phalla. It would probably be too complex for a first one though.

The Second Hour - Something lurks in the dark

A sense of urgency would be a better way to describe it. Not panic, maybe nervousness. Very few weapons were drawn, though a flow of personal to the armoury was mirrored throughout the fleet. Everyone was oddly quiet, taking in the last few moments of calm before the storm. It was only towards the end of the first hour where the metaphorical rains began to slowly drizzle down.

The Bridge of the Stars Fury was the sight of a stand off. The gathered crew encircled Jason Todd, holding whatever was to hand. The low whirr of the automated defence guns deploying was the only sound as the crowd nervously eyed up the traitor in their midst.

"I suppose you all want to know why?"

Jason was the first to break the silence.

"They say my home was a pleasant one, before the Union came. Tucked away in its own corner of the universe, not even able to dream of touching the stars around it. It had its troubles, but in the greater scheme of things, they were nothing. When it underwent... Unification, they say the very spirits of our people broke. The Federation was right to split away and take up arms. We sacrificed much, and for what? Freedom."

"Freedom that can never be taken away."

He spun around and slammed his fist into the helm as the sentry guns plugged away at him.

Elsewhere in the fleet, crewmen were going about their daily business as the lights flickered around them. Shadows in the gloom seemed to emerged as they blinked, before they suddenly went out.

Ok, so I assume the power going out is a mafia/zombie ability not tied to being in that particular room? Maybe to the power room?
And I would also assume that losing contact with a corridor is related to a mafia/zombie ability, or to the radar room?
