The scene when Carol touches the edge of space as she think about her hero, and decides to take on the Captain Marvel mantle.
Also, guys, the art looks amazing in my hands.
Journey Into Mystery #641
Loki and Leah blowing up Otherworld power sites while wearing Guy Fawkes masks.
But it's also sad when
Hela uses the Grail to restore her hand, but in the process Leah, Hela's handmaiden, ceases to exist as a separate entity from Hela now that her hand has been re-attached.

I picked it up today too, I absolutely loved the issue and Soy's art is friggin streets ahead. Here's the pages Crimson was talking about, they were my favorite part of the issue as well.
If you can't beat them, arrange to have them beaten in your presence.
Wow, OK, those X-Men scans are some crazy ess. How far back into Uncanny X-Men do I have to go to understand what is happening?
You're in luck, you only have to go to #14, because that is an all Sinister issue that sets up Sinisterland. And you could skip #15, actually, because nothing happens in the issue, you read the recap to #16 and you're up to speed.
The twist at the end of Justice League was terrible!
Steve Trevor was one of the best things to come out of the entire New 52
killing him less than a year in is the dumbest possible thing you could do
I doubt he is really dead, remember how right before that Cyborg saw himself as a ghost? Trevor might just be walking the line between life and death. Besides, I think he is supposed to be a recurring character in JLD.
Captain Marvel was such a solid read. Absolutely love the art, and I really like that the first issue was much more of a character piece than throwing us into a heavy plot too quickly.
But man does Saga just keep taking the mantle for best book on the stands for me.

Wow that was good. It actually gave me chills. I only started learning about Carol Danvers just before Civil War and have really come to like the character. I need to pick up this book.

Loki switched sides (Betrayal! From Loki! NOOOOOO!) and he and Leah are blowing up Otherworld power sites like Stonehenge after having done the same to the Manchester Gods' power sites. The idea is to force a peace between both sides.

Hela uses the Grail to restore her hand, but in the process Leah, Hela's handmaiden, ceases to exist as a separate entity from Hela now that her hand has been re-attached.
Actually, the last page is the best, but means nothing without some more context, and I think it's adorable no one on tumblr seemed to have seen it coming.

I'm a sucker for a good violent love story.
Everyone should start reading Saga. I just started last month with #4, but it's already a favorite for me.
Captain Marvel #1

But it's also sad when
Daredevil
The Activity #7
looks like the mistake has already been corrected
Seems like they tailored it really well so that he could be full time on the Avengers.
Heck, maybe they'll even try another solo book for him.
I don't know if Tony killed him, but it sure looked like it.
Uncanny X-Men #16, Sinister makes mutants reach their potential as real walking weapons, the idiot Gambits are first:
on top of that you have Cannonballs being cannonballs, cows that go boom, and Madelynes that are cloned nukes.

Brevoort said that "More Panther Things" are on the way in Marvel NOW
and while that could just mean he joins the Avengers, an ongoing starring him is kind of a no brainer

Too bad Christopher Priest said he'd never write for Marvel again, I always thought he wrote the best Panther stuff.
but Hickman and Fraction seem to write a great T'Challa as well
And Captain Marvel reminded me of the early issues of Johns's Green Lantern, which is a good thing.
And that twist at the end of Justice League!
And I actually enjoyed an issue of Green Lantern Corps!
Good week!

I really hope the last page death in SAGA #5 isn't as permanent as it appears.
DC = Dumb Choices
Gotta admire their consistency
But man does Saga just keep taking the mantle for best book on the stands for me.

Sinister also opens the Uncanny book's first arc.

I write about video games and stuff. It is fun. Sometimes.
That's what I assumed too.
(The poster implying he's a descendant of old-school 2000AD character Shako (The Only Polar On The CIA Death List) is the icing on the cake)
and Johnny Cash - He's a banking machine! Like, literally!
EVERYBODY WANTS TO SIT IN THE BIG CHAIR, MEG!
Wait, the muddy, clunky art that was previewed months ago?
MotW: scans of knife-swinging in Venom a couple of weeks ago, but no mention of pulling wings off flies?
Also, Dark Avengers...
