So my subscription to next wave started and i picke dup the back issues and I just have to say this is one of the damn coolest things I've read.
You got your robots, samurai, fing fang foom.
It's all good.
Oh and it's nice to read major marvel book without getting all depressed because everyone's yelling at each other and melodrama gets in the way of face punching and beer drinking.
I made his post to celebrate Nextwave, do with it as you will.

There is no end to the greatness that is NEXTWAVE.

Though, actually, there is. Ellis is leaving after issue 12, and I don't know if the book can survive that. Absolutely insanity walks a fine line between entertainment and annoyance.

I hope Eric Powell does something with it, but really, it should probably be cancelled once Ellis leaves. Millar might be ok, if he writes it. Maybe Joe Casy? Maybe not? Certainly not Bendis or Way, God willing.

Hey, HEY. I liked BP #18, even if nothing all that major happened in it. Now that I've caught up on this run of BP, I can't see why there's so much hate for the writing.

Anyway, Nextwave. I saw that gift too. Also, note that Monica made a one panel cameo. She was in the panel with Isaiah Bradley being pushed by his wife. I think Falcon and Cage were in the panel as well.

Some said, probably in the CW thread, that Nextwave is out of continuity, but these things should show that it's not. In fact, you can find a reference to H.A.T.E. and Nextwave in the 198 Files under Tabitha's entry.

I guess Tom Cruise has superpowers in the Marvel universe.

Although The Captain also says Captain America beat him up in the first issue, and Rogers is clearly nowhere near as strong as he is.
